email notifications

Its come and gone.. now its only the "Birdie" Flyover.

I used to be a lifetime member and quit for awhile but am back again. Once upon a time we had email notification of a message from another member. That great.. I dont check the site everyday and could lose a chance if I don't immediately answer an email. also emails would be good to have if a subscription is about to expire.. get the email back!
