Default profile picture not visible on profile view

Vixen and Stag now has two successful profile picture changes showing.

Why would anyone go through and click on a Gumby picture each and every time, we sure as heck won’t and this is where we are headed with this utter and complete nonsense.

When I pressed saying that it is completely G-rated, they replied that our faces are obstructed and they cannot be.

That's not happening.

Also, “visible faces” is broad and vague. Visible does not mean depicting.

I just don't get this so if your face is blurred and you don't have your whole body showing you can't have a default picture???? Someone please explain this?

It is my understanding that only the default pic must comply with the new rules. Not the entire folder, but I did find it silly for ppl to have clear face pics and blurred out nudes in their open pics.

The first time Wayne posted about the new guidelines he did say faces could be blurred. I know because I sent the ridiculousness to my husband. Of course that post magically disappeared...

Honestly, these guidelines are weird. Two days ago I uploaded a public topless pic. I was able to set it as a default and the thumbnail was visible. I don't understand why pics that do meet the guidelines aren't showing up.

There are so many of these threads going right now. I saw one earlier today where Tec Support replied their faces must be unobstructed.

I see cropped head but nothing of clear unblurred face.

If you want to upload a "G" rated picture and make it your default, you can. A "G" rated picture would be one that is totally non sexual. Here are the guidelines: Picture cannot be Headless No Photo taken from behind, where the person's face isn't visible, only the back of their head is visible No excessive kissing No suggestive poses (either sexual and/or fetish) No Grabbing and/or touching any sexual area of the body by either self or someone else No closeup and/or “cropped” photos of the torso at all No suggestive poses either clothed, in underwear and/or bathing suits (i.e. spread eagle, straddling an object, etc.) For females: no excessive cleavage at all. For males, no exposure to the penis and/or visible area displaying the penis or an outline of the penis”

Better still. Find Wayne in the forum and click lower right corner where it says (see recent posts). He posted the new rules. That is, unless he deleted it like SLS Tec Support did the day before.

Scroll around the forums and you will see that if your profile pic is not of your full front, including your clear unblurred face. It is not in compliance with the new policy. Because of the clear face part. Most ppl will opt out of having a default pic, as we did.

I have been waiting since the 9th for my default photo to show up talked to Tech Wayne he said they're working on it- have patience everyone! I have an Android iPad Verizon...

Two days ago, I tried to change my default pic and it wouldn’t show just as was described here. I’m now being told by tech support, that because my head is cut off in the pic, it’s not considered PG and is against policy. Apparently, with this mobile site coming online, the ratings have changed. Keep in mind, the only visible part of my body is the upper torso. It’s completely G rated. Feel free to look. This is a bullshit policy. Please, everyone, message the admins and voice your discontent with this policy. This is NOT what we are about! Admins, fix this!

Ours disappeared days ago. I tried to switch to a different, more "child safe" pic last Thursday or Friday and it still isn't showing up. Emailed Techsupport and got this answer: "Your current picture is "pending" review. It will not show while it is "pending" and if it gets a "not app-safe" rating, it will not show."

So, I guess we just keep waiting. Given that it is taking this long I'm not sure how we will know if it is still simply pending or if it has been deemed "not child safe".

Ours are not fixed as of yet. How do you get a hold of someone to tell them about it??? Many people pass by if you don't have any pics.....cause I know we do...lol

Same here no profile pic and we didn't touch a thing, also emailed support! Maybe it is the Lifestyle gods telling us it is time to update our profile!

To Iron Couple, yes, it was fixed sometime this morning, another local couple we know sent us IM telling us they could see our profile picture. You can check yours by going to the "who's on" section of the site, you should be on the top of the list since your are "closest" to you. Hope your profile gets fixed soon, you have awesome pictures, one round with both of you and we'd forget our own names, LOL!

I just emailed about the exact same thing. Looks like they got yours fixed. Ours isn't.
