I’m shocked that it took 5 days for this to turn political. Then again, it took 5 days for ro-ridiculous and tbrcocksucker to show up. I’m pretty sure somebody will be able to find somewhere in their profile to advertise their vaccination if they so choose.

I wonder if t is not so much political beliefs as age and experience.

I must know the other 44%, btw, because were it not for polls, I wouldn't know this and the most vaccine-hesitant among my acquaintances are those who believe in weird shit like homeopathy.

Vabeach each party has what I call it's fair share of whackadoodles. The folks you are referencing do not represent , I believe, most of those who self identify as Republicans.

Among those I know we'll each has been innoculated as soon as they were allowed.

That is currently true, but in my experience, until perhaps 8 years ago, it was mostly - definitely not exclusively - your friends-of-the-earth raw vegan San Francisco new age hippie types that were most often anti-vaccine. And they were most definitely not Republicans.

It's a shame so many don't understand science...be prepared to be left behind...Final comment on the subject...Airlines, restaurants and many companies will implement a passport of sorts if for no other reason than to protect employees and themselves from lawsuits

Kind of makes sense for Hawaii, but I'm not sure how you provide proof of vaccination to them. I will find out later today (getting my first shot) what I get for paperwork, and how easy it would be to copy/modify/print that out.

You may need proof of vaccination to travel to certain places. Hawaii is talking about it now.

Biden has already said the feds will not be putting a system in place for this and was looking for the private sector to do that. Unless someone can make a buck off it, the private sector will have no interest in it. That being the case, the problem is that there's no way to verify someone actually got vaccinated.

The other thing is that you'd also have to date stamp it. Will a Covid vaccine this year be meaningful next year? While I don't have a problem with the concept of a vaccination validation system, as soon as Biden said the feds were out, I see it as pretty much dead as a possibility. At least in the US anyway. Without validation, it's not worth the paper (or pixels) it's written on.

If we want to go political lets go back a year and all the democrats were against these vaccines due to Trump was in office. Now that Biden is in office they are all for it, and now the Republican's are against it. What changed? The only thing that changed with the Vaccine was the the political party in the White House. That's just a fact. Not politics.

Now I have allergies but no doctor will or can tell me what is in the vaccine when I ask. When you look on the web sites of the companies that make them they say if your allergic to any of the ingredients to not take it, however what are the ingredients and if they are they are not saying in plain English what the ingredients are? 2As some people are allergic to penicillin they have alternatives same with almost all medications. They are trying to make this a one size fits all approach and it isn't. There was no study done to test the effectiveness of the vaccine. It was RUSHED....

I am personally of the belief that this was a natural virus that was biologically engineered and it accidentally got out. I have friends who are doctors that are saying this due to how fast and how many mutations are coming out. They are stating in 6 months you will need boosters for the new variants due to all the mutations and these guys work for CDC.

Granted alot of the issues are so small it doesn't effect the majority of the populations. So if the virus only negatively affects a small portion of the population and the vaccine effects a smaller portion what is better for you.

Think of it this way. What pain medication works for you? Motrin, Tylenol, Codine, Vicodin, Norco? For me I can't take anything that is mostly morphine based I itch and get sick and other side effects. I would rather live with the pain than take those and I have if I couldn't get morphine. I couldn't get Norco or demoral when I had major stomach surgery so I lived with the pain instead. Vicodin is like candy to me as it doesn't work for me even in the 1000 mg range. Norco works wonders and i can take it at such a low dose compared to the others where I can't and I don't get the side effects as I do with Morphine based products.

A one size fits all approach will not work here for me and a lot of people. As more and more people get vaccinated you are seeing more and more side effects. So for us we will wait until we are comfortable and there is a large long term base line were we can make an informed decision with the Covid Vaccine.

So why are we afraid of the vaccine...science or political reason? Soon private business will require proof...what do you do then?

It’s not about asking the couple if they are free of std etc. it’s about being pig identified on this site if you have a shot etc. if we are going to do covid we need to do them all to include all the influenzas all hepatitis to include type abc, 1-12. Etc. what about how and types, have you ever had cold sores? If so you are a carrier for types of herpes that should be listed too. Have you ever had a std. where does it end.

Yes we talk to our partners about std’s but their entire medical history isn’t my concern or my business. Should we put if some one is on their period etc? The point is it’s your business for what medical procedures you get, it isn’t mine or anyone else’s to tell you what to do with your body. If people feel it is that important for them list it in their profile. But don’t try to force other people to disclose their medical issues.

Interesting that the government is telling those of us who are vaccinated to not eat in a restaurant , go to a bar or a place where there is a larger crowd of unmasked people. Swing clubs would certainly qualify for the latter. I guess if you plan on meeting a fellow vaccinated couple you need to stay outside, social.distance and wear your mask!

It's moot, because I think va's assessment of 2027 is a little too optimistic, but in the same way I ask when people last had STI tests, I'm going to ask about vaccinations. I don't actually care if either question eliminates some potential playmates, because those are not my target market.
