I am pretty good about ignoring stuff online but I felt the need to reply. I am a single female in the lifestyle....10+years. I have always been a single female in the lifestyle. I read this post and thought about it for awhile.......I think the idea is totally shitty. It is a total invasion of privacy so someone get some dick? REALLY? I recommend everyone be responsible for who they spend their time with. It is called vetting very carefully.

I have more reason, as a single woman, to be afraid of people than anyone, IMHO. I can say that some of the worst experiences I have had was with couples. So I guess the guilty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Randy, they are out there, you just need to find them. Might I suggest you look at "Clubs" & "Groups". As a single guy I know I am not appealing to most for one reason or another but that does not stop me from looking to make new friends and maintain current friendships. If you project a negative attitude you are not going to do well here.

LewAndAmber, this topic caught my eye because you are singling out single men. Look at my profile, I have made mistakes in my life and I let it be known I have a criminal background, I do not want any surprises and I am up front about my past as I work to improve my future. As far as the couple guys I met so far I think they are great and would benefit any couple or single female. As far as NJ and Amecizia I too would have to agree with them. I think singles men and woman get a bad rep. Am I a swinger, lifestyler, who knows and frankly who cares. I like open honest people period.

What happened to the meet n greets ? Noone wants to do that anymore if even they did. Nothing around Chattanooga but then rude comments about no single guys ever. Do i need to rent a woman just to go out and socialize ? Some of the comments just suck.

From where I sit... number one: you're singling out a group for the possibility of an action by a few and a select few at that. Violation of a persons civil rights that prevent them from enjoying a lifestyle that you are afforded is against the law.... quick reminder- Augusta national wouldn't even allow AA into their precious club until the very recent past. Number two: show all of us your research on how single men have disrupted, interfered, abused, or in any other way caused more issues on this site than any other group I.e., single females, married but cheating on their spouse males, same sex couples, etc, etc, etc....
Number three: after providing this research analysis let's just say to bolster your "opinion" weak as it is... where did you get your "facts" from? Who verified those facts you're spouting out? You see I can keep this type of questioning going on and on and notice how I mentioned single males one time? Yet I mentioned you and your flaws and incorrect data multiple times. That's how you get "popular opinion" to change. Focus on the facts not suppositions and conjecture and out right lies. Force people to actually think for themselves instead of following like sheep.

LewAndAmber, as a single male who is reading this I must (1) side with ms. NJNY, (2) disagree with excluding single males, and (3) would say there are bad apples among SFs and coouples as well. Everyone needs to be cafeful and not single out SMs as the bad guys.

This is the last I'm going to speak of this since you don't seem to get it. Realistically in this world if you're not married are considered single even if you're dating hence the reason the definition says singles in committed relationships. Maybe you need reading comprehension 101. You seem to be blind and don't see the committed relationship part after that. You're not legally bound to anybody until you are married therefore you are still singles dating.
Here's an example for you to make it easier since you don't get it. When you go fill out an application for something it will asked for your marital status. It gives you generally three options single,married, or widowed. Nowhere does it say dating engaged or otherwise because according to the law your single until you marry. So two people who are single come together and eventually their status changes to married. Until they're married under the law they're considered single. And if I'm dating somebody I can walk away with no repercussions if I married to somebody I have to go to divorce court and give them half of my stuff. Well conclude this with this the definition says singles and couples in "committed relationships " that's singles in commited relationships and married couples in commited relationships. Couples with couples it's not that hard to understand.

It would be nice if you would at least quote correctly and not put words in my mouth. At no time in any of my post did it say singles can't be part. What was stated was a matter of fact and not personal opinion. By definition swinging is the practice of couples with other couples. And again my original response was in response to the title of this particular forum. In which people are complaining about SINGLE MALES not females. So I was just staying on topic.

Your your posts have stated that singles can't be part of the swinging world. ("by definition Swinging is couples with other couples.") If your solution is to remove single males, then it's not difficult to follow through that you should also remove single females.

As for comment that you've never heard of complaints about unicorns... well, they do happen. Over the past few years, we've been approached by two different "unicorns" who eventually admitted that they were married and cheating. We've heard of other couples who have had the same experience, and a few where the unicorns were actually looking for a couple/woman to join them and their partner. By definition... NOT unicorns. This last category is easy to find. Filter on single female profiles and about 5 percent eventually mention the boyfriend/husband who wants to share.

There are also reports of unicorns who try to "steal" husbands/boyfriends, were major drama queens, or were just plain batshit crazy.

The post implies the issue of single males. Therefore my response was as such it's not difficult. My discussion on the matter of swinging was to bring the facts of the lifestyle to lite. It's really not complicated. No one I've ever heard complains about unicorns. They don't tend to be over barring and pushy. Nor are they touchy feely in any type of disrespectful way. Men are men and without a partner to keep them in line they tend to think the lifestyle is a free for all and tend to have lack of respect. Hence the reason people in the lifestyle have issues with single males.

While a lot of couples probably wouldn't object to removing single males, you would likely have great howls of pain and gnashing of teeth if you then also decided to remove single females.

Yes key word commited relationship. I.e.:married,dating or engaged so again by definition Swinging is couples with other couples. Just because me and my wife have a threesome doesn't make us swingers it just makes us open .

The actual definition:

That being said when your in a MFM FFM situation that's also considered part of an alternate lifestyle but by definition it's not swinging. Threesome is considered more of an open relationship which is not actually the same thing as swinging just as well as poly amorous is not the same thing as swinging. Modern day swinging all that stuff has been encompassed under that umbrella but the original tent of swing was not that. Not arguing and personally don't care just giving actual facts not opinion.

This may be old, but an easy way to confirm single men is to have the site access fb relationship status. No cheating guy is going to change that in fear of being caught by the spouse. Even though its not tgat hatd to create a fake fb account. Its more effort than most maybe worth trying to do. Also its useful for confirming age and photos.

I was in court at the beginning of this month in order to secure a 2 year protective order against a woman I met on this site. Casual sex turned into obsessive behavior and jealous rage with her and when I cut her off she vandalized my car, threw a brick through 4 windows of my home, and spray painted my dog. But yeah it's a single guys that are the crazy ones. Gtfoh
