Profile still visible..what the hell does that mean?
I can't view their profile? They can't view my profile? Both?
In any case that is truly fucked up. There was a time when Friends were immune to blocked profile types. That way you could exclude new contacts while maintaining contact with your friends. Very useful.

You may have to change some of your settings.
Try this -
go to TOOLS
then UPDATE PROFILE
then PREFERENCES
scroll down to "WHO ARE YOU LOOKING FOR"
change all options to "NO INTEREST (PROFILE STILL VISIBLE)"
