Events on SLS currently pointing to Swing

Philadelphia, PA, Usa

Swing simply doesn't work on my Chromebook. It just freezes.

Both systems are available now. If the new events system does not make sense to members, I will be happy to discuss it and work with any of you. It makes 100% sense to us working here for the company. Obviously, it is an issue if our members do not understand our features, so please feel free to contact myself or another staff member for help or feedback.

Looks like we're back to OG SLS event functionality, right as Swing events were starting to make some sense...not much, but some.

I noticed all the Bliss functionality (ship layout, attendees, room reservation..et al.) is missing or incredibly hard to find. I was able to find the direct link by using my chrome history but cant find the functionality on the live site that people are used to.

Assume this is another beta site victim?

I see the attendee lists now, but search doesn't seem to work when I enter a city, and the quick filters (e.g., the "Club" badge) doesn't seem to be working, at least not correctly

Also, site authentication still doesn't seem to be persisting from the main page session, which may partly explain why we can't add ourselves to attendee lists yet?

I agree with others that it's shocking this is playing out on the live site.

Much better, thank you. What's the timeline on activating the "I'm Going" link? Still seems half-baked for launch on the front page of the active (not developmental) site.

Attendees have been added to the events.

And that the sign up button doesn't work. We tried.

Gainesville, FL, Us

Yes, we are aware. We read these posts everyday. We are working on it daily and you should see improvements each day. Almost everything should be good except for the attendee lists and those are being worked on.

This really is horrible timing...right during the Spring/Summer time of year that events usually really pick up. The only way we're aware of to get to the event, sign up, and see who else is attending (which is important) is through the Hot Dates calendar on the old site.

Why is no one addressing this concern?? At least reply and let us know you're working on it.

Virginia Beach, VA

I agree withe everyone. This is a horrible experience. As someone mentioned, we can't see who and how many are going. I am not sure why this wasn't done in the background and tested before it was rolled out. It absolutely kills the experience.

What happened to the events list? Unable to view who’s going or how many attending on any club or party!! Going to any club or party blindsided is good!! Total deal breaker!

I appreciate the responses on this issue, but the experience on SLS has only get worse since the bug initially appeared. SLS still links to events on the new site, but now it's worse than before because the new site shows no event details at all, whereas when I first noticed it, events we're just missing certain data points like attendees.

Is there a way to restore event links on SLS to point to SLS event pages and details instead of the new site during this transition?

Delray Beach, FL, Us

There are a few growing pains in this new system, which doubles the amount of events we display. Next week will be a major update to the events on the home page.

Moorefield, WV, Us

Do not like this new version. It sucks

Gainesville, FL, Us

Thank you for letting us know. The company is making extensive updates on the events sections to integrate them with Swing.com and the new features there.

Harrisburg, PA, Us

Concur with okcitron71 regarding bugs in the system. Cannot view attendees to events listed .

Washington Dc Post Office, DC, Us

Just noticed that links to events on SLS are pointing to the event section and even listings on Swing, which doesn't appear to support authentic and has place holder content for a variety of things.

I assume this isn't intentional so thought I'd report it. Not sure if there's a better way or place to submit bugs, but happy to report there, too, if needed
