I do my best to stay less than 10MPH over the posted limit, but somehow every few years or so, I get distracted or something and get one.

Usually about $150 in "stupid tax" which keeps me reminded for a few years. Relatively painless in the big scheme of things ;-)

Well, normally when people receive tickets they either mail in a check for the fine or pay it on-line. Unless of course, they decide to contest the traffic infraction. The ticket will usually have the proper procedure printed on the ticket itself, just follow the directions.
