New hot date format, do u like it?

yeaokay, I wish we could see what you see, then maybe someone could figure what is happening for you. For me, if I change my location to Mobile, AL, change the radius to 100 miles and click on next Saturday, there is one hot date total (it's a couple and I can see it, so you're certainly within their age range) and two events listed. That's it. But based on the 16 hot dates listed for today, it may be that most people aren't planning too far in advance.

Could you try a different browser and see if you get different results?

I can view ZERO hot dates now. A friend sent me the invite to view him on hot dates.. and while it says single females.. all of them do. I'm out of age/ relationship range of all the others next Saturday within 100 mile radius of mobile Alabama.. anyone else with this problem? I'm 57 , certainly that can't exclude me from everyone! :)

Our age ranges aren’t set in stone, so when we put up a hot date we leave it wide open. We see many other couples doing that same, either by design or simply because the default is now 18-99. Regardless, then end result doesn’t match those expressed in their profile.

We really wish the profile flyover was back on the Hot Date section so we don't have to click on each and every profile to get the details on the couple.

I wonder if maybe some are opening up the Hot Date age range beyond their profile. I suspect that, like people's ages, that is yet another thing people forget to update.

I put a comment in the Website thread because it makes no sense that they show anything if you're not a match. Why bother telling someone that when the criteria knows you're not a match because of age or preference?

15 dates within 100 mile radius. 7 visible. I do see those with requests to 55 yet I am 57. Weird!!

yeaokay, try expanding your search to a month before shrinking it back to a week. I just changed my settings to 150 miles and Mobile. Fourteen of the 33 Hot Dates today are visible to me. I imagine you'd be able to see more, since you're rather younger than 97.

No, there's some weird bug in the Hot Date system. After reading yeaokay's post, I decided to test it out earlier today by plugging in the city I'll be in next week, giving it a 50 mile range and expanding to a month. There was one hot date in November, which is pretty unlikely for an area of about 13 million people, even if I am 97. When I changed the range to 100 miles, there were tons and a bunch remained after I went back to 50 miles. At first pass, there also were no events listed and of course there were once the problem got cleared up.

So, there's an unfixed bug and since the last time someone responded to a support ticket of mine was August - the rest have just been disappeared - I'm not going to bother reporting this one.

Btw. - the age limit on a Hot Date is separate from the age limit on ones profile. In other words, your profile could have an upper limit of 60 and the Hot Date could limit it to 55.

Perhaps their upper age limit was less that 57.

On November 2 in my area there is a hot date listing looking for couples single female yet i am unable to view this as it says Sorry, you do not match their relationship or age request. Interested in: Couple (M/F), Single Female
I find that all the time, unless it is a single male I am blocked from viewing hot dates.
Is there something I'm missing ?

The new hot date format is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful format I've ever known in my life.

I truly wish someone who knew what they were fucking doing ran this website. One more major fail like this and I’m fucking done. I always joke that this website looks like it was designed in 1997 and the functionality is horrible. The iamb has always fucking blown. That’s why emails were better. The new hot date calendar sucks. I work in interface and user interface design. They need to hire someone that knows what they’re doing because this shit looks like it was coded in 1997. Pure fucking trash

The administrators of this website fucking suck. It is the most crude design website I’ve ever seen. The only reason any of us use it is it’s a conduit for us meeting people in the lifestyle. The new hot date functionality and design sucks. They keep taking these fucking steps backwards. We’re getting rid of our email system and making us all use IM. It’s clear the owners of this website or cash money whores and just stack the bills without making any improvements we ask for. Instead they improve shit we don’t even ask them to improve. The admin‘s of the site fucking suck

Is there any thought process before making these drastic changes ?
We used to glance at the hot dates page and see a wealth of information. Now it takes multiple steps once we figure it out.
No warning, no instructions tells us that Management does not care.
