Im
Oh i get it. I have been in lifestyle most of my life. I think I have seen it all and I understand not everyone practices good communication. I guess i have to start making notes on who I reach out too. If they delete the IM i have no way of seeing weather I wrote to them before. I just dont want to come across as a PIA by writing them again. I am just saying it would be nice to see if they read it.
@fun18070 - Here is another way to look at it. If their ability to communicate is so poor that they can't return a simple IM, is that someone you really want to have an experience with? We've found the best communicators on the keyboard translate to the best communicators when the clothes come off. So no, we'd not send a second follow up message. Why let them disappoint you twice? Good communication skills are a gift that not many people possess.
No reply is a reply.
Say it again...no reply is a reply.
The old mail system had the same issue. People could read the email in the preview without ever opening it. So it never listed as read to the sender.
It is what it is.
And don't send a follow up to someone who doesn't reply. Their silence has already told you they're not interested. Learn to accept that.
I guess I am getting ok with the new method of contact. The issue I have is, I don't know if or when the couple reads my IM. At least with the mail it told me when the mail was opened. A lot of people dont respond for what ever reason but as a single male I dont want to come across pushy sending an other message. It would be a help if it indicated when it was opened or read.
