Profiles with no pics

@mayhem8

That is a plausible explanation. Having your pics plastered all over the internet is a daunting reality.

But like you said, headless clothed-body pics can be of anyone, which sustains the anonymity and discretion complex that most us enjoy.

Not saying this is the reason, but the Terms & Conditions of online sites usually indicate that they own and can do whatever they want with any pictures you upload. That's why the "Use of pics without permission" is a waste of time and space. That, and who would actually follow through with legal action?

Not that I think that the site would do anything bad with anyone's pics, but it could be a reason. That said, I see no reason not to have clothed headless body shots as those could be anyone and at least gives an idea of body types. One person's "athletic" is another's "average", and so forth.

So no pic in gallery, but pics in email? They could have saved themselves the trouble by putting the pic in the private gallery and sharing it, but I guess that’s complicated.

I’ve been contacted by Gumbies who’ve been on the site for yrs and have yet to put any pics. I can understand discretion but how hard is it to put up pics without exposing who you are,

I’m calling it laziness. Pure laziness. Couples and singles included. Free member, paid member or lifetime: it’s better to have a pic than a Gumbie.

If you can send a pic thru a msg, you can easily put that same pic as your profile pic. And if you don’t understand the gallery rules look them up.

But I wonder, is there a good explanation for not having a profile pic on your profile?

Because I don’t know any.

Data point: The last two emails I've gotten from new people have been gumbies, but they've attached photos to their mail. I don't know if it's technological incompetence or some sort of weird strategy. They were both oh hell noes, so I didn't ask.

What’s up with all the blue, green, pink and yellow Gumbies?

I’ve seen so many profiles without pics but the person has a been a member for quite sometime and area active so to speak.

Doesn’t that seem odd. A paid member for a number of months or yrs, but a gumbie for a profile pic.

Is it just me?

I may have to start using “No gumbies please”.
