Profile rejected by Support

Well, that was annoying, huh? Just like it is hard for us to categorize pictures, seem like SLS's own people have interpretation problems as well.

Thanks. Team, for the theorizing on my rejected profile. After I asked Support to specifically tell me what was wrong and they couldn't figure it out, I submitted my profile again and it was accepted with no problem.

If you want to see a filter in action, try entering a post with . com, but remove the space between the . and the com.

It's almost certainly the word "kick". SLS has automated filters in place which will nuke a profile update that gets close to "kik". I had a tag line get nuked for using "nikto" in a movie quote, I figure it was "ik" that triggered it. And yes, I know for a fact that there are automated filters in place, Wayne has told me so in direct messages.

I'm still getting used to the approval thing. Sometimes when I scroll to see more of a profile, it disappears and I don't know where it goes. I've used the reject button when it looks like there's a url that doesn't look right, but what got you could have been a glitch originally.
I've also used the Needs Work option, but it would be nice if we could what we think needs work!

Then as someone else suggested, this must have fallen under the category of "personal information", which is BS because lots of people have indicated that they are vaccinated and only looking for others that are the same.

That is a good guess. I don't think that is likely though, since on second look, when I asked for more specific feedback, Support said they saw no issue and and they accepted the change.
Go figure.

I saw your original post, which got deleted. In that, the message they gave you said something about violation due to having outside contact info (i.e. kik, email) in your profile. I could not see your profile because you block couples, but perhaps you had something sneak under the radar and a recent (non-related) change enabled them to catch that.

I asked support for more guidance on my profile statement about being vaccinated. And here's what they said today. Go figure.

Maybe vaccine status is considered personal information? Maybe just change it to something like “I’m team Pfizer and you should be too!” Or whatever you took.
