We can't read the messages we have- except for those from management. Pretty sure all members got those. They were kind of old, but we hadn't been on for a long time.
When trying to read the messages from others, we get a message that video chat is the new communication method, that's only available to paid/lifetime memberships. Not sure how that works, and are not too keen on the idea.
I just got a message from a free member so I don't know what's going on.
Free members can't send messages nor can they read messages sent to them. Every rule has exceptions- Free Members can read messages from site management. I'm not sure if Free Members can send a message to management- I haven't tried.
The only thing that has changed (temporarily) is that Free Members can post in the Forum.
Normally, no. They would have to get a paid account to send or receive messages.
However, I believe that Management has temporarily given the free folks access during the current unpleasantness.
Can free members receive/send messages? If not, how can they be contacted? Thanks in advance for any info provided.
