HOLLYBLUE- pertaining to the physical therapy portion of you comment. My most amazing wife has attempted and currently still is attempting to correct the ailment herself. she made me go purchase a dildo that was smaller than my..... well you know. also one that was the same relative size, and finally one that was larger. And again as I said to HOTHORNEYWIFE, numerous different products all with the same expected end results. her intention of all of this was to over time get herself on her own terms in complete control of the stated problem. it hasn't worked.

Holly Blue. thank you for your reply. your point is where my stand point is on the subject. subconsciously her body is saving her life . I agree completely. however, neither she nor I can recall a time where an event that you were loosely speaking of has occurred. yes we both understand that it could have been something so miniscule that our memories decided it wasn't worth keeping.

in reference to a second opinion. she hasn't been to just one specialist. she has been to three. all three have cleared her, " she has no physical deformity/ and or any form of physical abnormality that would be causing this issue "

The other option is that something has happened to trigger that reflex in the past making the body "hyper vigilient." This can happen, for instance, if you had gotten choked or experienced a blocked airway from eating a piece of chicken. Your body may then decide that gagging is the proper response any time chicken enters your mouth. It does happen to people. Her body is simply trying to protect itself. If the ENT cannot find anything then it may have become a learned programmed response. Sometimes, the conscious can override that in conjunction with physical therapy. The biggest issue is that your wife should not beat herself up over what she is going through. If one ENT cannot find anything it also doesn't hurt to get a second opinion if one can be had.

I have seen some stuff in the sex shops or maybe you can get it on line that is a spray that will numb the mouth and throat. Might want to try that.

funny you should mention that she has been to the ENT. everything checks out.

I think I would see an Ear nose and throat Dr about it. There may be some underlying medical issue.

when my wife and I first got together she was an oral goddess! however over the years she has developed a not sure if it is a physical ailment, or mental. we have discussed it the both of us at length we can't figure it out exactly. but the ailment is a extremely sensitive gag reflex. so bad that brushing her teeth, or sucking on hard candy literally will gag her and the natural bodies reaction ensues. (yes that has happened during intimacy as well).

she Desperately wants to be able to do that for me again (her words not mine).I hate seeing the disappointment in her eyes when she can't get what she wants. I hole heartedly loved the heavenly feeling she bestowed upon me in those days, and would be so grateful to feel that again.
