If you have friends with good social skills who know a lot of people and can introduce you, then go with them but don't stick to them like glue. Otherwise go by yourself. As a single woman, I would never approach a group of single guys. Probably wouldn't have when I was a couple either.

Here are my thoughts coming from a couple…
At a lifestyle event, /meet and greet, that allows both couples and singles, I think going solo would be better. Assuming you were trying to meet couples. If you’re going to event with single women, then a wingman might work out better. Single women tend to travel in groups.
