I understand Lovemenot, but as we all know Hotdates is local as very, very few search for Hotdates in areas in which they're not located. That's precisely why I started this forum. As a guy who's search not for a date, but a significant other is on a gobal basis and I'm sure I'm not the only, this forum is long overdue. Sad that some people don't get that.

If I’m traveling and have the time and inclination, Hot Dates have been very useful. But you need to post them a week or so in advance, much like any other local dates that need to be planned. I’ve also met some folks from these Forums in person, again, if they happen to be in areas to which I’ve traveled. Although it does take some planning, I’ve found both very worthwhile. Just my $.02.

I never said Hot Dates didn't work. I've used it sparingly, but when I have, it's been a blast.

As far as your kind offer, apparently I wasn't blunt enough. You've burned too many bridges with your heavy handed sarcasm here on the forums and have joined my 'not with a 10 foot pole' list. Which is surprisingly short, now that I think of it.

To anyone who interpreted my last post as snarky, I apologize. I usually try and do better.

I know it’s not an excuse, but I had a particularly trying day yesterday, dealing with airports, late flights, short connections, getting home well past my nighty night time. And to top it off, there was the couple who should have orange triangles permanently attached to their backs walking side by side completely blocking the jetway, who barked at me for being rude when I said “Excuse me, but my next flight is already boarding. Can I pass through?”

I am probably a little less tolerant today than normal, and shouldn’t be responding to some posts.

I know what forum regulars are.?? Thanks for confirming Hot Dates doesn't work for finding other singles that are looking. Let me know if you ever get to North Idaho. I'll treat you like the queen you are!
