when does this site work right

People who kiss the asses of this web site's developers are just fucking sad.

There are many improvements that could be made to make the site more user friendly. A number of suggestions have been made but for the most part it seems to fall on deaf ears. For the most part though they seem to have it working well now.

I don't know what anyone is complaining about. This site is amazing. It's the height of late 20th Century internet technology. If you don't like it, go over and find someone on Usenet.

Okay, I'm logging off of my AOL account now, and unplugging my 56 kbit/s modem so I can call work. They just rang my pager.

Where is ability to reply to a forum sub-post? Ability to give a simple like or thumbs up (or dislike), etc.? There are many sites out there with this simple functionality. I may be getting older, but in todays world this kind of half bred of site is synonymous to medieval.

This site being bad is an understatement. To think in 2023 a site who's purpose (supposedly) is to assist persons in meeting others. A social website. The search feature is near moot. The technology mindset is in 1995. That's being nice, too. The relatively inexpensive costs (in comparison to sites like swap finder dot community or adult friend finder dot community) shows. The old mantra, you get what you pay, applies here.

It seems to me it's extremely inexcusable to not have simple functionality (having more filters in search). Add simple controls to profiles to identify oneself. Using that data as tags to be used in searches. It's unfortunate we paid to find out that SLS is not a user friendly site. It's more of a portal for advertisers/businesses.

It's very slow sometimes, especially the chat section & live chat.

Well. according to what has been posted by Wayne it does 98 percent of the time. I guess I am not always online during those times because for me 98 percent of the time it is fucked up.
