When I lived on Long Island, distance was an issue, I lived on the South Fork and about the only people reachable were about an hour drive. I didn't mind, but it did limit my ability.
Living in Jax, distance is not an issue although I did meet a great couple at PlayaLinda, we meet up once after that. We plan to meet again when the temps are better, where we can enjoy the beach by day and play by night.
We've got 2 regular couples. One is a 12 hour drive away, and we'll do it. We both host at our houses.
The other couple are too far to drive. We meet up once or twice a year at our homes or a distination. They are worth it.
We also agree about the distance living on a island that has no type of clubs for meeting not even a strip club. Glad everything is opening up and we’re having more visitors but visitors mostly visit Oahu or Maui. Looking forward to meeting new friends.

One other thought comes to mind. Ohio is one of those states that's running off the rails with new Covid cases right now. People 60+ are more likely to be taking note and possibly backing away from play time right now. So, if it's just a case of nobody responding, that could be a reason.
What do you get when you do a search for couples in your preferred age range in your area? If nothing, then there really aren't any people in your area.
Our problem is not our age,plenty of seniors out there playing. Distance seems to be our problem. No senior swingers in ohio?
