It would be far simpler if people would just date stamp their photos.
age updates?
85 in good shape work out regularly. have a little belly. Look younger. Horny as can be. Anxious to meet to play when virus subsides. So sorry to miss this time because of the virus and sorrier due to my age.
Best wishes to all.would love to hear from others.
We keep our ages updated and have been updating our weight as we continue to lose more and more weight. We still need to update our pictures more, as what we have posted is at least a few months old (some older) and they do not accurately reflect us as well. We know we need to be doing this on a regular basis, however we are in the process of moving, and staying with family makes it more difficult to find the time to take pictures reflective of what we would love to have. We have met others from here and their information is very accurate, and others well, lets just say maybe we should have met them 10 years ago, as that would have been a more accurate representation. We stopped looking to meet others directly from here, instead we go out to meet and greets, or other group events to meet people.
We accurately report our ages and weight and we update our photos every month or so. We routinely do photo shoots so what you see in our profile is what you’ll see when we meet. Truth in advertising ;-)
Our most amazing "find" was a couple that was 20 years older than their listed ages. 20!!!!!!! They told us we were damn fools for listing our actual ages. We would never get any meets they said. Hah! We don't need meets then I guess if we gotta BS our way in the door. Needless to say, we never drank our drink faster and scooted right out the door. Crazy!!!!!
Yes, we keep the age right on target. Pics are updated every 1 or two years, maybe more sometimes.
There are many ways to fudge besides age and weight....LOL....Mary Jo
We update every year. We've found that a good number of people fudge a few years and pounds (or more sometimes)
We have met a number of people that are less than truthful about their ages and updated pics. One in particular comes to mind as I was chatting with a guy with military background. He was telling me he had been in Viet Nam in 1967. According to his profile age he would have been 7. I called him out on it and his response was that everybody lies about their age. Not us!
We update our ages annually and keep our pictures pretty current, 1-2 years old.
When we are interested in, or especially if we contact a couple I always C&P their profile into a file on my PC. I just came across one from almost 5 years ago that had three people we had contacted and thought I'd go check them out again. Two out of the three had me guessing that in their own little world time stands still because they are still listing the same ages as they were 5 years ago. I'm pretty sure it was all the same pics too. It kind of makes me wonder just how long time has been standing still for them.
If there is one thing I can not tolerate is someone misrepresenting themselves. If age is off a year, or weight is off by 5 or 10 pounds it's not such a big deal. I know everyone doesn't update their stats in a timely manner. Do they think it won't be noticed though when they meet someone face to face? or do they think they are just so charming the other couple will play with them anyways? We wouldn't even want them as friends let alone play with them.
The ones that have 99 for their ages, or don't list a weight we won't even bother with. I mean seriously if they have hangups about their age or weight, then what other hangups do they have? Not my circus or my monkeys to deal with LOL
Anyways, have a nice day!

Our view...profile maintenance is a responsibility, "truth in advertising" matters. The facts become apparent at the first date, and deception at the first date means that the first date is a last date. We are not going to debate picking up 5 pounds since the photos, but when the photos are 50 pounds lighter and ten years younger than the couple we meet, that becomes a basis for (quoting Snagglepuss), "Exit, Stage Left..."
There is no good answer. Some people update their age every birthday and their pictures every time they turn around. Other people lie about their age and use ten year old pictures. Most probably fall somewhere in between - they sometimes forget to update their age and new pictures happen once in a blue moon.
It's a bit of a crap shoot. You just have to decide how blunt you'll be when questioning someone during whatever process you use in vetting potential playmates.
My photo's are a week old...
We have gone from being 5-10 years younger then some couples to being 5-10 years older from those same couples- go figure. Since SLS doesn't automatically update age based on birthdate, it could possibly be an oversight on those couples part. Some pics also haven't been updated for years. Sometimes folks just don't update the profile. My guess is that some folks also deliberately advertise a lower age, or weight or whatever. After all, everyone says they 'look and act younger than our ages'. Its common enough that you could add a few years to the listed ages. It doesn't make sense really. What do folks think is going to happen when they meet: We will be so overwhelmed by your charming personality that we will overlook everything you lied about on your profile? I guess it is just par for the course on these sites.
Do the members who have been and are listed being on the site for multiple years...update their listed age? Obviously MOST do not update their profiles as being "new"...so do we add years to your listed ages per the years you have on the site?
