So.... I'm going to say that ALL the litigation brought by states attorneys over the Covid 19 vaccines & against Faucci MUST have some credit & merit.

Repeat that line out loud. Because you just supported it.

Bringing suit against a person (BTW very little of the 40 have gotten to a judge yet) can be done with absolutely no merit whatsoever.

Maybe you should take a few drugs.. did you try the midol I suggested before?

It's hilarious watching the left convert from a socialist democracy to a constitutional Republic in real time.

Umm, a constitutional republic (aka a form of democracy) can choose to enact socialist policies. Look at any of the Nordic countries. I bet most on here would be very happy to live there. In fact, in most surveys, they are among the happiest citizens on average. I guess that tells us that democratic constitutional republics that choose socialist democratic policies can be pretty successful, if you use citizen happiness as the gauge. I'm sure there are some that enacted some socialist policies that aren't successful, and if they remain democracies, they then end up choosing other economic policies.

BTW, I wouldn't say that I'm a leftist. I believe in a regulated capitalist system that ensures fairness to the participants, with social safety net policies that we can afford and that don't create disincentives toward productive labor.

"So.... you got nothing. Maybe you should look up the definition of the word litigation, before using it.

You meant to say legal action... I know they sound alike, but they are different."

This is literally what it says in the Oxford English Dictionary (straight cut and paste):

lit·i·ga·tion /?lid?'gaSH?n/ noun

the process of taking legal action.

I have to ask, WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Are you on drugs, man!

6 months ago the Constitution was an outdated and irrelevant rag according to some here, now they are experts on the importance of it's relevancy.

@marion, you really couldn't look any of this up for yourself? As a fellow citizen, I think we both want what's best for the republic and for all that makes this country exceptional when compared to the other sh*thole countries with depots like Cuba, Venezuela, etc.

But anyway, I think the one (out of the 40 or so lawsuits, as I said) is the one that has reached the Supreme Court already. Chump fired the independent head of the US Office of Special Counsel, which protects gov't whistleblowers who report fraud, waste, abuse, and other illegal activity. This is an office that was, by law, created by Congress as a check and balance against the executive branch. The head of that office is nominated by the president and confirmed by the Senate, and the law says that he or she cannot be removed by the president except “for inefficiency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office.” Chump's administration just fired him, no reason given.

Now, why would someone want to fire that kind of person, and independent check that there are no laws being violated, no corruption was going on? Hint... if you weren't doing anything illegal or corrupt, you wouldn't have anything to worry about. But if your plan is to have illegal activity or corruption, you'd target the independent checks, wouldn't you? This is why the Chump administration also fired a whole slew of inspector generals, who also have collectively sued.

The case has not yet been accepted by the Supreme Court, since this was just filed. But if it's reached the Supreme Court, it means it went through at least a couple of levels of the courts (lower courts, appeals courts, etc), without having been thrown out yet. At each level, the Chump admin was ruled against, so that's why they have brought this up to the Supreme Court.

The billionaires of course know how to work the system. They've rigged everything in their favor as much as possible. They know who to target in order to shove the checks out of their way, and they've obviously bought as much of the Supreme Court as possible. So they're going for the big bet. If they win this case, they have basically eviscerated the checks and balances as our founders wanted, with no one to represent the little people, not even including their Congressional representatives. Their puppet wannabe king has been installed, so they can manipulate him to completely remake America to the billionaire's paradise that they want.

Your forgetting that America is not Incorporated any longer. We are now a republic. Fuck Maritime law. We are back to common Law. Anything coming from the BAR AKA The British Accreditation Registry is now Null N void. Those Judges? ROFLMAO. " Those who Know, Know " And you do not have a clue. You will soon.

Hamilton, AL, Us

@SN. Can you give me the name of ONE case against DJT that has current litigation going on?

Because much like frivolous lawsuits, court "cases" usually don't get dismissed for several years into the process.

sn1987aVeteran

There are 40 court cases outstanding. You can't even bring a court case unless you have at least some evidence for violating a law, or it would be thrown out. All the judges accepted those 40 cases. If you're too mentally lazy to go and check these cases out for yourself, that's on you. It's also too much to list all of these laws that are being broken. But rest assured, there are 40 ongoing cases, so it's 100% clear that A LOT OF questions about Chumps lawless behavior being litigated in courts right now

This is a constitutional crisis.

I haven’t see anyone talk about the law Trump is breaking. All I see is talk he’s breaking the law .

Montpelier, OH, Us

You guys aren't looking at the bright side to this. It's a genius plan.

You all were worried that Trumps border closing and deportations were going to cause a shortage of farm hands, landscapers, house keepers, etc.

BOOM! Doge is creating a workforce to fill the very void you are worried about.

Ya see... It's a win win.

(and for the dipshits that don't see it. I'm being a sarcastic ass, just for you)

Hamilton, AL, Us

Also, USAID money going to anti-gun organizations.. organizations that turn around and donate to democratic PACs. Nothing to see here.

Hamilton, AL, Us

If* what DJT is doing is "illegal" then maybe we need to change a few laws.

I'm no fan of DJT. Nowhere in this forum will you see me saying nice things about him. But, as far as what's going on with DOGE, I'm 100% in favor of it.

The United States was never meant to be the worlds ATM, police force, social worker, emergency room, military, loan officer & every other thing you can think of.

We have no business funding other countries "elective" programs. I can understand if it's a foreign policy or aid that helps America. But 99% of the bullshit I'm seeing is flat out anti-american.

Phoenix, AZ, Us

This is what happens when you have a swath of people who don't read, don't think, don't know much, and believe any bullshit (love the baby bird analogy) without questioning it.

Government is largely to keep tyrants, the wealthy, and corporations from trampling the rest of us (because our founders knew those groups have no better angels and must be resisted on a larger level than individuals can muster) and fucking morons are cheering on the tyrants, the wealthy, and corporations dismantling government because they're so witless that they believed more than 40 years of propaganda painting the government as the fucking enemy.

USAID - a force for good, dismantled by (no, he's not autistic, he's just a fucking wrecking ball whose been told too often that he's special) people with personality disorders.

“You elected a billionaire who is appointing other billionaires to fix the system that made the billionaires. You’re a special kid of stupid, aren’t you?”

“All doge has done is cherry picked things that seem on the surface to be complete abuse, waste and fraud.”

Same as ICE advertising the deportation roundups. It’s the same figure as the previous administration. Figures for true criminals removed from the streets has not been provided. Probably for the simple fact that they’re not really rounding up true criminals. More linked low hanging fruit.

And the 2Outs of the world cheer wildly. As soon as statistics that prove criminals are being taken off the streets and deported and I have less money being owed in April. I will cheer. I’m not out buying confetti.

But you guys believe what you want to.

Grocery bills are still high. A polar vortex is about to hit the northeast and energy costs are not lower. Let me know when inflation is under control.

Trusting the richest people in the world to look out for us little people is pretty stupid.

New Orleans, LA, Us

Let’s all start with the premise that every taxpayer in America would like to be assured that their tax dollars weren’t being wasted or worse, used fraudulently.

Now look at how the money is appropriated, by congress. Not “the libs”, all congress members vote on who gets what.

All doge has done is cherry picked things that seem on the surface to be complete abuse, waste and fraud. But is it? I’ve read where most of what spent is retuned eight fold. That money that went to Africa for schools got us minerals we desperately needed. Most of the food aid we send overseas are subsidies for our farmers, meaning we pay then to grow the crops we ship to other countries so the farms can survive.

Is there still waste? Absolutely and I am all for someone researching each and every grant and subsidy to determine whether we get anything in return to justify it but you can’t do that in a few days. All you can do is post rage bait and that is all that musk and drumpf have done.

And I’ll say it again, it’s all a distraction. Musk starting up a new peer to peer pay system then wanting to shut down the consumer protection agency is just one example of how this isn’t about our best interests, this all about theirs.

"USAID flew under the radar for a LONG time."

Because you didn't know about it or other programs and agencies, they are somehow under the radar.

Nothing these two dudes can say will meet your disapproval.

"Musk and his team put a fucking boot heel to the tube, and there are a WHOLE bunch of American people that aren't happy with the mess on the floor!"

This is MAGA at its core.

You had a whole infrastructure dedicated to rooting out fraud and abuse. Dedicated public servants that spent decades learning their craft. Knowing whether the bureaucrats wipe back to front or front to back.

But you somehow think that some autistic guy with a lot of money and his merry band of 19 year olds can look at something for 15 minutes and decide what is good and bad.
