I actually agree with about half of what RFK says.... Industrial food companies need to be checked hardcore. He should investigate all food coloring and most preservatives, and really check if they are safe. Microplastics needs way more investment to study if they are causing harm. We should also stop subsidizing farmers to industrially create all that high fructose corn syrup, and instead subsidize fruits and vegetables.

The fluoride has been studied a lot already, and the studies have overwhelmingly shown that they are safe and effective. There could be some subtle effects. I think one recent study said that high levels of fluoride might cause a drop of 1 in IQ on average across a population, but that happened at levels above what are in any water system. Since then the US gov't has lowered the level of fluoride they recommend. Anyway, this is such a minor issue that for anyone to argue that Chump cares about clean water just because of this, is someone who is easily duped. There are much more important issues, like whether big corporations will be free to dump whatever sh*t they want in common water supplies without consultation.

The vast majority of health experts support small amounts of fluoride in water, and studies have shown it's safety and effectiveness. To me, it should be kept as a local issue, and not made into a national issue. We should continue to monitor and do studies to further prove it's safety and effectiveness (for subtle and long term effects). You can do things like study whether populations with/without fluoridation have higher rates of X, where X is some disease or effect.

The only news I've heard regarding water is the sh*t ton he had released from Northern CA reservoirs for LA that had no chance of ever reaching LA. Instead, it was just wasted and dumped into the ground during this winter, leaving less for farmers when they do need it to irrigate their crops in the spring and summer.
