If the roles were reversed. There would be no question the Reps would bring charges, and bringing the hardest hardball you could imagine.
Their actions are definitely up for discussion relative to Section III of the 14th Amendment.

I thought the Supreme Court MUST hear the case of one state suing another state. If the Plaintiff state doesn't get a hearing then their only option is to go to WAR against the Defendant state. If the Confederacy had a chance to sue the Federal government and northern states. Had a "trial" before the Supreme Court and decision of the south grievances. Then maybe there would not have been a civil war.
