"@AZ , what do you want ?" Then went on to attack state socialism.
What I don't want is either extreme. Pure capitalism results in a handful of insanely rich and masses living in poverty and the economy collapses due to lack of demand.
Pure socialism, like Venezuela, detaching effort from reward, no one works hard, little gets produced. The economy collapses due to lack of demand as people with money wait in long lines to get into stores with empty shelves.
What I want is a balanced economy, focused on both linking effort to reward, but also preventing too much wealth from ending up in too few hands.
The biggest issue right now is the massive structural imbalances causing debt to increase at 3x the sustainable rate, which can only be fixed by attacking and reversing the imbalances. (Get money out of the hands of people that have it, into the hands if people with debt, so they can repay the debt.)
Also, anti-cyclical policies, and pro-equality policies. Spend more to increase opportunities for poor people to help themselves... fewer government handouts, but way more hand ups.
Oh, and most of Bernie's platform. $15 minimum wage, Medicare for all, raise the SS tax and increase SS payouts, free college,, etc etc
