@tbr, thats how id like to think id handle it. i have zero issues with trans people (not saying i always understand it) but i dont care what adults do. this is the single subject the wife and i dont always agree on. shes more open to this than i am. but like onehell said, its not my problem but i do think mental illness is the cause most of the time, not always obviously. i have no tolerance for mental illness

We don’t reach a specified age and know everything. There are plenty of 30, 40, and 50 year olds who don’t know what they want.

I’ve never heard a trans kid claim that they’re doing what they’re doing to please their parents or anyone else.
Let them do as they wish. We (adults) are already providing all kinds of shit that can potentially scar them for the rest of their lives. In other words, we’ve got a lot of house cleaning to do before we worry about the effects of trans kids in society today.

The article is a good read as to the impetus for the legislation. This proposed legislation while it has cleared the Florida House has not been signed into law.
