I mean Prescott. The family had their accounts frozen at some point. It’s been 20+ years since I've read about it. It’s fuzzy.

I know he's discounted as a President but Carter actually had 2 great foreign policy achievements. The Panama Canal treaty set the tone of US-Latin American relations on a positive path. Despite some glitches, we still have generally good relations with most of Latin America. The other is the Camp David Accords that reversed continual strive between Israel and it's neighbors. This came after nonstop tensions for the previous 30 years.

If you mean Eisenhower was involved in a financial scandal of some sort, not that I recall or can find mention of. One of the reasons he was recruited - he'd basically never even voted let alone declared membership in a political party until he became a civilian - was that he was admired by all. His running mate was shady, but he wasn't, which is why he was so effective against Joe McCarthy.

Sorry, I left off a sentence. Poppy Bush also had significant foreign policy experience as an ambassador, CIA Director, and VP, along with a few terms in the House, and time in the military.

Nixon, despite his many personal and political failings, was definitely in the top tier of presidents when it came to foreign policy. Eisenhower had a nearly unique vantage point for modern realpolitik. But, yeah, Biden had a longer career and a closer look at foreign policy than other recent presidents.

Have we had a president with more experience in foreign policy? Maybe the Sr. Bush?
I can’t think of any other president who has as much.

"War" by Bob Woodward. I highly recommend it for a lot of reasons, not least for its readability. I came away with an enhanced appreciation for what a difference it makes to have a president with a lot of foreign policy experience. Were it not for Biden, we'd be looking at a very different Russia right now.

Donald Trump had trouble finding a place to hold Thursday’s rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico, after his campaign stiffed the city almost $445,000 the last time it was in town, the Santa Fe New Mexican reported.

Originally event organizers wanted to hold the former president’s rally at the Albuquerque Convention Center, but the city refused to even consider it because the campaign still has an outstanding bill from a similar event in 2019.

“If you’re not going to pay your bills, we’re just not going to entertain you using city facilities, and that’s the way it should be,” Mayor Tim Keller, a Democrat, said during a press conference. The campaign then found a venue at a private airplane hangar and wanted to shuttle rally goers from a public parking lot at an outdoor amphitheater. But the proposed parking arrangement was shut down because of the details of the contract that governs the lot’s subleases.

The Trump campaign responded in its usual calm, measured way, accusing officials of “electoral interference.”

For all the rest of us people that want an America not ruled by a tyrant, I thought it would be interesting to note that the NY Times reported that Trump is "privately cranky and stressed," according to three people that have been in contact with him. I hope that's because of the internal polling that he is seeing. I'd be cranky and stressed too if I were running for president just so I could pardon myself from all the criminal indictments I was facing, and I saw I was losing... LOL
