Having. You have to give up on the emails and birth certificate thing. For crying out loud!!!!! I just do not get it when people keep bringing it up?????? The Republican party had eight years of control, (EIGHT), to look into both of these. For the love of God. Do you really believe that they didn't??? And if they had found something, they would have been all over making it public. Give up on it.
Mueller is done
ASKING FOR PRESIDENT TRUMPS TAX RETURNS IS A SIMPLE,
"EXPLORATORY SEARCH" A VIOLATION OF 4TH AMENDMENT
TRUMP WILL GIVE HIS TAX RETURNS AFTER HILLARY GIVES HER 33,000
MISSING E-MAILS AND OWEBAMA GIVES UP HIS LIFE RECORDS.
Let me digest it for you. House will get the unedited report and use it as road map for further subpoenas without making it public.
@RK.. what is Haldeman vs Sirika all about?
If you look at the actual numbers, job creation during Obama was higher than job creation during Trump.
How bad the Democrat, Liberal, Socialist behave and Hillary lost. We can't imagine how bad they would be if she won.
You retarded or something. The question is settled Haldeman vs Sirica 1974. Today is subpoena day.
@DNL
People do fit in boxes. Sure, there are ~325 million unique individuals in the US, there are not ~325 unique thoughts. People can be grouped together. Heck, you saw it in the election. There was a group that was 65mm and another that was 62mm. Aren't those two boxes? So the categories are right. This is what political scientists spend all their time on. This is why you hear the phrase, 'the base.'
So wait a minute . . . let's clean some things up here.
Turn the economy around? That is a cliche. If you look at what it literally means, that would mean the economy was in the shitter and it is great now, or it is in the shitter now and was great then. By most measures, Obama turned the economy around. He inherited Bush's shit and then what . . . it grew. Unemployment dropped below historical rates. Trump has just run with it and then done something to keep it running longer. He threw fuel on the fire with the tax cuts. But if you are objective, he has not changed the economy. He has just not fucked it up. That is worth something!
Manufacturing job increases? Huh? Sure, it has grown but let's put this in perspective. It hasn't grown a significant amount. Scroll down and look at this historical chart - marketwatch. com/story/manufacturing-employment-in-the-us-is-at-the-same-level-of-69-years-ago-2019-01-04
And here is an irony. Where have the job increases occurred at in manufacturing? The company he wants to put out of business. Tesla has probably added 35k of that number. Then start looking at the foreign car companies making in Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina. You also realize that Tyson Foods counts as a manufacturer, don't you?
Like the economy, I give Trump credit for not fucking up manufacturing. It is not roaring back. It is not a massive growth. It you look at what the number was in 2010 and what it is now, it is about the same.
LOL...
And the walk back
Senior White House official to NY magazine;
"There will br plenty of unfavorable things about the president in the full report, which we think ill eventually come out, so let's not go overboard saying there's no wrongdoing. Let's move on..."
"if the Mueller report proves to be a nothing-burger" if it is nothing burgher why having a problem House getting the un-edited report ?
LOL.
Perfect example of people seeing what they want to see...
You seem to think that everyone fits into neat little boxes, I really think most people try to think for themselves, with the obvious exceptions. John McCain was a serious disappointment in the Republicans attempt at Centrist Politics, and Jeff Flake is just another Never-Trump politician. I maintain that Trump was elected in response to Obama. If there had been a rational Democratic candidate they would have won easily, but instead the DNC picked Hillary.
I believe that he believes in himself, that he has actually turned the economy around, we can see that unemployment has been slashed and we're growing our manufacturing base, things that will be evident for years to come if it continues to work. He's half way into a term where he's been accused of treason, theft, mental disorders etc. so I don't think it's sensible to look for his signature mark yet. BTW, he said during the 2016 campaign several times that he would incorporate a single-payer healthcare system, I sort of figure he's got to get support from one side or the other. Maybe he'll flip-flop completely and run as a Democrat in 2020? He's crazy enough to try it. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out in the next few weeks, if the Mueller report proves to be a nothing-burger, what will the Leftists rant about? Will they actually attempt to keep the investigate-Trump-train rolling, or will they actually attempt to do their job?
@DNL
There is a difference between what you are calling 'the rabid leftists' who are quite confident that Mueller's report should have found that Trump killed Kennedy, shot MLK, was DB Cooper, gave a blow job to Putin and has Putin and the mafia on speed dial compared to thinking that there is something there. I think there is something there. I do not know what it is. My basis is his history. He has never been known to be the most upstanding citizen. So what is in the report? I dunno. Is it enough to impeach and remove? I dunno. Is it enough to impeach? I dunno. But to think that he is innocent of everything is absurd. He may be innocent of working with Russia, again, I dunno and I have no idea.
You can break the country into 5 categories. Take a straight horizontal line. Take the first 10 percent and call that the loony leftists. Take the next 30 percent and call that the left. Then take the next 20 percent and call that the undecided. Then take about 25 percent of the next and call that the right, then you can take the last 15 percent and call that the loony right.
Are there crazies on both ends of the spectrum that NO MATTER what will vote for that affiliation? Of course. There are a lot of crazy right people and there are a lot of crazy left people. Both are either Trump haters or to steal a line used here, Owebama haters. Here want to see an example? How is it that in 2008 this group LOVED McCain. They thought he was the best ever. They thought that way until . . . Trump said McCain was not a hero and terrible. You can see the same with Clinton and even Carter. However, Carter seems to be in reverse :) They hated him then and like him now.
Then you get that 55% of left/right who almost all of the time will vote the party line. In that group you have some people who are torn. They are torn because they see the loonies. On the right, that would be the Jeff Flakes of the world.
I am still not sold that he thinks he can better the country. I want to believe it, but I have trepidation. Right now, he has done nothing to benefit me fiscally or pride or feeling. However, he has not scorched the earth and what he has done is curable. I have found him to be, as you stated, a lot of smoke and mirrors. Seriously, think about this. What has he actually done? Reagan got the wall down, that was his defining moment. Carter's was what? The hostages? Giving the canal back to Panama? Clinton's was actually taking what had been worked on in the past and getting Nafta done and a surplus on the budget! Bush Jrs. was 9-11. Obama had Obamacare. What is Trump got? A tax cut? Adding 5-8% to the deficit per year? Or is it going to be that he got two judges?
I mentioned this before and will mention it again. Trump wants my vote (which has zero value in CA), take Barney Frank's suggestion and lower medicare to 50. That will be so pro-business it will lower insurance costs. It will cost shift away from the small groups to the country on the whole. That would be fucking awesome.
"I am not taking any side or slant" but you actually believe they have something.
BTW, I did vote for him, I didn't have a choice given the alternative. Never been a fan, wouldn't call him a "good" anything, but I'm starting to believe that he believes he can better the situation in our country. I honestly thought he was only in it for his ego, which still made him a better choice than Clinton's intentions. All the smoke & mirrors from the "never Trump" crowd in DC tells me that he's onto something, and I honestly believe that most rabid liberals that hate him are puppets.
@DNL
There are a couple of points that I agree with, but unlike you, I am not taking any side or slant.
I don't think anyone has screamed that it be released in its unredacted form to the public immediately. I think congress has asked that it be released to them. This goes back to the gang of eight discussion that I had with TBR. Trump has a lot of control as to what is released. Barr has even more. However, as I mentioned, I'd prefer that the classified, innocent people, etc. be redacted.
Now, the CNN comment is kinda bullshit. If you think that someone at the FBI has CNN on speeddial to say show up, that's dobutful. If you think that the FBI may have notifed a few media outlets, that is possible. That is what happened, oh, ironically in Fort Lauderdale when Trapeze was raided. The cops notified a few of the local media to show up. It could also be that Stone's place was camped out. It's not like it was an UNKNOWN that Stone was on a short list. So the media could have just parked and waited.
I agree about the taxes. There is no law, there is no gain for him to release it. The why, as to not releasing them, we will never know, only he and his attorneys know.
I am not so sure that Jr is out of hot water. I actually have a theory that Mueller laid it all out and stopped at the line in the sand. That line is the family and finances. This is why Jared, Ivanka, Jr., etc. seem to be clean. However, that could just sitting there for Barr to work on. I suspect that if Mueller is under subpoena and CAN disclose if they were investiaged, he will. Whether that happens in public or private, I do not know.
The FBI can NOT remove the president. This is where you went way off the reservation. If Trump had/has done something, it is up to congress to impeach him. You and I would NEVER ever want the FBI to just remove a president. The FBI is not the judge, jury and executioner.
Obstuction is defined. I really wish people would read the First Amendment and then understand it. Is Trump a citizen? Is Trump an employer? Is Trump a boss? You can't claim first amendment that gives you the right to hold power over your subordinates. That just doesn't work. There is ways to find him guilty of obstruction. In fact, I think that may occur. However, I am not sure if that will happen in or out of office.
Regardless, Trump is in for a world of hurt the day he leaves the office. I think a few states AGs will have a bunch of filings that day.
You must be dizzy from all of that spinning...
I'm personally not screaming about anything. This is what I expected from Trump from the very beginning. All you had to do was look at his history to see just what kind of slime he was.
But y'all didn't bother. And now are too stupid to change your mind.
DNLB ..yea...magats think everyone is stupid. Check out 1974 Haldeman vs Sirica and what happened 4 weeks latter
I really shouldn't respond since I'm not "in the tank" for anyone, and I'm not a "fan" of a political party, but I am bored so why not play along, at least until it devolves into name-calling.
I read a couple of weeks ago that Trump said he believed the report should be released to the public. The only thing counter to that are ridiculous demands from Leftists that it be released immediately and in it's entirety, which they know isn't legal and isn't going to happen, but it feeds the frenzy and really, it's about all they have left. So if you're asking about the report, you know the answer, if you're asking about some vague gray "secrets", you'll never know the answer. Trump said he thought it should be released to the public, the fact that his attorneys want to read it first to have a response prepared shouldn't surprise anyone. It will be redacted, marked up & released. You can bet your ass that CNN has 30 articles that will hit the air within seconds of its release, they've already proven that they are deep within the FBI, see the televised coverage of Stone's arrest on a closed-off street.
Trump won't ever release his taxes because he has played the system and has been a corporate welfare-whore his entire life. It would damage him politically, so he's not going to give it up. It's also something for his detractors to rant about and distract people from time to time, if he ever actually gets into hot water he may release a summary of some kind, just to tease the media back onto a harmless trail.
Why did Trump and his campaign lie about their contacts with the Russians?
Trump has negotiated to build hotels and resorts or put their brand on existing places all over the world, it's silly to say he denied any contact ever. The questions that Flynn "lied" about, the hot water that Manafort got into weren't nearly that straightforward. Have you stopped beating your wife? Word games have a different action when prison sentences are threatened. DT Jr was nearly ensnared with meeting with an operative that was selling Clinton secrets but they didn't set the hook.
They'll release the Mueller Report. They will redact shit and the Leftists will shriek about it. It doesn't matter, if the FBI had actually uncovered evidence that Trump was working with a foreign interest, he would have been immediately removed from office. He might have had a stroke, or even worse. It would be treasonous to have left him with his finger on the red button, wouldn't it? Or do you now assume that all government agencies are as screwed up as a couple of the agents are?
As to obstruction, I guess it depends on what the definition of is, is. For some people, Trump was exercising his First Amendment Rights when he sent tweets at 3AM about witch hunts and improper investigations, other people see it as using his office to threaten subordinates, but barring an insane confession from the Tweeter-in-Chief, it is what it is. Intent is very subjective in hind-sight. Proving it is impossible without following action.
.. Cuz the motherfucker is up the neck in debt..
I have but one question for everyone who is in the tank for Trump...
If he is completely blameless regarding all of the various allegations against him, why is he trying so hard to keep all of these things secret.
There is no law, but a long standing tradition of releasing tax returns when you run for the Presidency. Why hasn't Trump done so?
Why did Trump and his campaign lie about their contacts with the Russians? They originally said no contact, but there have been at least 100 contacts revealed between the Trump campaign and Russian interests.
And the latest thing. Why can't they release the Mueller report to Congress. If there are issues with classified information, there are mechanisms to handle that. If there are issues with grand jury testimony, there are mechanisms to handle that.
If the report actually said no collusion and/or no obstruction it would have been released that day.
But it wasn't.
Why not? Why not work with the Congress to resolve any issues the Administration might have?
The answer on all of these issues is that the Administration is dirty. You don't hide things because you have done nothing wrong.
Former Attorney General for Bush, who Trump wanted as his personal attorney....
Who stated awhile back that he didn't approve of investigations, calling it a witch Hunt...
Gives biased opinion in favor of Trump.
Surprised?
Let the public and Congress read and decide what it really says.
Great quote, "I'm just glad all Americans are happy to hear this great news that Hillary lost all on her own". WHAT NEXT?
As we meet at the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. In a field full of unicorns. Singing Kumbaya.
Im just glad all Americans are happy to hear this great news that hillary lost all on her own and now this country can get right back to working together and loving each other.
February’s federal budget deficit was the largest on record, according to figures released by the Treasury Department on Friday.
