People are setting aside the time to do it. They will fill out their request, fill out their ballot. Mail said ballot. They’re just using their time wisely.

Being an hourly, working poor person that finds it difficult to take several hours off to go vote, DOES NOT MEAN, you are uninformed or throwing darts at a dart board.
THE REAL ISSUE is that Republicans don't want those working poor people to vote, plain and simple, so they are making it as difficult as they can.
Here in AZ, the voters used initiate to modify the state constitution to get PEVL on the ballot and it passed over overwhelmingly. It is no wonder Republicans are now doing everything they can to try to make it harder for citizen's initiatives to get on the ballot.

So, if you're working poor, can't skip 4 hours of paycheck to go stand in line for hours, mid-day on a work-day, then we don't want you to vote. Voting is only for white, male, property owners of the middle-class or above.
And before you even TRY to claim it doesn't take hours to vote, WRONG. Even with 80% of AZ residents voting by mail,. the Republican legislature has cut election funding to the point people that vote in-person have had to wait many, many hours. The last election before my son signed up for PEVL, he stood in line from 5PM after work, until 10PM. By that time, they had already declared probable winners for most of the stuff he was voting on.

After a state constitutional amendment took congressional distracting out of the hands of state legislature and handed it to citizens committee, we went 5D, 4R for federal house of reps. We are 1D 1R right now, but only because McSally is filing in the remainder of McCain's last term. She's going to lose to former astronaut (and husband of shooting victim when she was us congress woman, Gabby Gifords). That will put us with 2D in us senate.
2018, the only state-wide election that went R was Governor, and that is because the D candidate was pro-disband-ICE and pro-open-boarder.
The only place we are still very R is state legislature, but that is because we are still gerrymandered to fuck. 2018 R took 60% of house seats on 48% of the popular vote.
