Congresswoman Gabbard sues Hillary Clinton for 50 Million. Gabbard better careful, she may have committed suicided.

"INTERSEX", in Denver, some guys-gals problem. The new word we will hear to replace some other PC word.
"Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson went on a camping trip"
In the Avengers Endgame movies, there were two actors who played Sherlock Holmes. It was a lost opportunity, and almost a crime against comedy, that at no point did Dr. Strange and Iron Man have a conversation with one saying to the other, "No shit, Sherlock."

Q- How many conspiracy theorists does it take to change a light bulb?
A- None. Hillary did it.
That's funny, and accurate
Q: Why don't the Clintons like Jehovah Witnesses?
A: The Clintons don't like ANY Witnesses
"Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."
-Isaac Asimov 1980
My point is, having been around academics for the past 25 years, I am significantly less impressed with degrees than most other people.
That's why I didn't mention his academic achievements.
I thought it was about a stolen tent...
Anti-intellectualism is a mental disorder
"And one can be brilliant in their field and shallow in other aspects of their lives.
In fact, I often find this in highly educated people who have been in academia all of their lives... "f
Which was exactly the point of the OP. lol
LOL
I figured you would say something about that.
He graduated magna from Harvard (with an Arts degree), so he is obviously a bright guy. BTW, I graduated summa, but that is neither here nor there.
But his educational credentials have little to do with being shallow or vapid.
I have been around lot of academics. Some are bright, some less so. Getting a PH.D. is more a function of persistence than brilliance.
And one can be brilliant in their field and shallow in other aspects of their lives.
In fact, I often find this in highly educated people who have been in academia all of their lives...
2 much - fair enough.
TBR - No mention of his Sowell's education or credentials? lol. You are predictable.
After perusing the Wiki page on Thomas Sowell....
He has described himself as a libertarian, a school of thought I find vapid and shallow.
He has been praised by Steve Forbes, who I consider to be an idiot, and Charles Murray, who is a racist.
He has praised the knowledge of such well kniwn anti-intellectuals as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and G Gordon Liddy.
So on balance, not a guy I will be reading much of.
Perfect- "Who said it did?"
Not everything here is an argument. Just a comment that I thought went along with your point.
I haven't read much if his stuff, so I have no opinion on him.
Do you find Thomas Sowell shallow and vapid?
LOL
'Always'...……...hmmmmmmmm
"We can study like an intellectual all our lives, but in many cases intellectualism is hollow and vapid."
LOL
Anti-intellectualism is always shallow and vapid.
"You can be both book smart and street smart. It doesn't have to be one or the other. "
Who said that it did?
You can be both book smart and street smart. It doesn't have to be one or the other.
