AZ...... Do you find it to be amazing that the people who write the laws skew them to their benefit (both sides of the isle)?
Inside trading
Want to hear something outrageous. Until 2012 it wasn't illegal for congress to trade stock on insider info. Fucking Obama, pushing and signing a law that forced congress to live by the same rules the rest of us have to.
"Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act" 2012
A year later they changed most of the public reporting requirements from fear of "identity theft"... but 1) it is still illegal and 2) have to be disclosed. Reporters are just going to have to do a lot of digging to find the disclosures.
Now you understand what corporate socialism is.
They own us.. There will be zero investigations, white collar criminals rule this country .
After this is all over the sec should do an investigation into this.
this is BOTH sides doing it and they should all be shot for it.
Jim Inhofe, Ron Johnson... The list keeps growing..
Dump 3: Diane Feinstain up to $6M
I agree that ANYONE who breaks our laws should be prosecuted, no matter their position or status. Laws are laws and Justin’s is “supposed” to be blind to everything but the facts.
Dump number 2: Richard Burr over $1.5M in stocks right after he got the CDC report. Burr was one of just one of three senators who voted against legislation in 2012 banning so-called congressional insider trading.
Dump number 1: Sen. Kelly Loeffler dumped over $1M in stocks after getting the CDC report. She is married to Jeffrey Sprecher, the chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, and the chairman and CEO of Intercontinental Exchange, which is NYSE's parent company.
So, how many Republicans in congress dumped stocks to save their own hides when they got the coronavirus reports?
