According to the National Archives:

"§ 2202. Ownership of Presidential records

The United States shall reserve and retain complete ownership, possession, and control of Presidential records; and such records shall be administered in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.

(g)(1) Upon the conclusion of a President’s term of office, or if a President serves consecutive terms upon the conclusion of the last term, the Archivist of the United States shall assume responsibility for the custody, control, and preservation of, and access to, the Presidential records of that President. The Archivist shall have an affirmative duty to make such records available to the public as rapidly and completely as possible consistent with the provisions of this chapter.

(2) The Archivist shall deposit all such Presidential records in a Presidential archival depository or another archival facility operated by the United States. The Archivist is authorized to designate, after consultation with the former President, a director at each depository or facility, who shall be responsible for the care and preservation of such records."

For those with reading comprehension issues, that means trump doesn't own the records, the National Archives does. Period. End of story.

The affidavit addresses 15 boxes the National Archives and Records Administration retrieved from Trump's residence in January, detailing the volume of documents stored, including 184 classified files.

One key takeaway from this is that the 184 documents had not been declassified. Now I know his minions will claim he can retroactively declassify them or that he gave some sort of blanket declassification to any documents he stole, errrr, took without permission and I would really love to see those arguments play out in court.

I have now Obtained the photos that inspired the “TOILET GATE “ conspiracy . You know the one that says Trump flushed classified documents. Of course I cannot divulge my source at this time . But I can tell you this in one photo It’s a small piece of paper just big enough to sit flat in the bottom of the toilet . All that is legible on it is written in sharpie and it looks like it says “ ROGERS “ . I do not see any red markings that say “TOP SECRET” or “CLASSIFIED “ like in the movies . Of course I am not familiar with anyone named Rogers at the moment but I can speculate that a guy named ROY might be Trumps connection to Russia. As far as the second photo the writing , some in sharpie is pretty blurred out but it may read “TRIGGER” so I have to speculate that this document must be something to do with the ALEC BALDWIN case . I will be bringing these photos to my local forensics lab to have enhanced . I will follow up when the results come out .

The main thing there that had an impression on me was that there was a piece of the Berlin wall. It was the normal height (~12'ft) and it was a panel wide (~10ft) I was there with my kid. My child had no idea what it was when we first saw it. I had to pause for a second and then it hit me. Why? The side we saw was the East German side, it was clean. But when you walk through, are there documents? HELL YEAH. Were any of them CLASSIFIED? Hell no. Were there photos of Reagan standing in front of that wall while it was in Berlin? Yes. Were there news clippings, and various other articles there? YES. But were there nuclear codes, a dossier on Gorbachev, et al? NO.

A document is not a document. A document can be a memo from Trump to Pence, saying, "Great job on my tax cuts plan." A document can be from the CIA to Trump explaining how they learned where the Iranian Soleimani was and the people involved and how they should send a drone to kill him. That document should never see the light of day.
