That's rich dth, you are closer to Mickey than flip in your obsession with bashing Biden and dems in general.
As for the name-calling, I thought magat was a least a little clever since it identifies maga supporters but if it offends, I can stop using it. As I have explained before, I used to be a registered Republican and still respect many on that side of the aisle so I want to be clear when calling out those I strongly oppose, it's not all members of the gop, just those who follow the maga mantra.
As for trying to be civil and actually debating ideas and positions, I would love to do that but just scroll back and look at the comments addressed at me. I quote specific lies djt has told and I am immediately called names and attacked. And the anger is palpable which is another trait of the maga crowd and that is not by accident. Their agenda is to appeal to the disenfranchised, even when they are the LEAST persecuted people on the planet, old white guys. So they lie (the election was stolen) and exaggerate (Biden left $85BB on military equipment behind in Afghanistan, when the US only spent $83BB in total over the entire conflict) and enrage their base to the point they attack the Capital and attempt to overturn a legal election. I still can't quite understand why that doesn't scare the crap out of more people.
Getting back to the idea that if I call out djt, I should call out the other side, I find that amusing. I consider this forum to be a place to debate so it's not my job to make your case for you. Does daddy or Mickey or JandE or dth or the half dozen or so maga followers who now have me blocked post "the other side"? Of course not and I wouldn't expect them to. I consider my posts a counterpoint to theirs and I at least try to back mine up with facts and documentation, and a sense of humor instead of anger and malice.
I've made it clear in the past that Biden wasn't my first choice and I'm not in favor of everything he does but I continue to believe the country is FAR better served by him in the Oval Office than djt.
As for the insulting nature of some of my posts, I'll try to do better. ;^D But I tend to be a mirror and I reflect how you address me back at you. If you want respect, give respect, and I'll do the same.
