The best essay I know about White privilege is by Peggy McIntosh. It is entitled “White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack,”

It’s been highly cited in scholarly essays and journals and is used in college courses.

That might not recommend it for you.

It’s better than anything you will find on Facebook or on a sex site forum.

I see a 90 second video on Facebook by him about debunking White privilege.

Yes, I was wrong. The subtitle for his book “Why the Jews” is “The Reason for Antisemitism” (not the case for Antisemitism). The book’s title still makes me puke in disgust.

Regarding stuff my Prager. Frankly, I have little or no interest in reading essays about White privilege that are “published” in Facebook.

I prefer to read peer reviewed essays and books on the subject published by respected presses or published in quality journalism.

Sapp.....its an article not a book. I have said that many times . Also its Dennis Prager. The book is he wrote is "Why the Jews? The Reason for Antisemitism". He by no means promotes what you are implying. You need to look again.

The author is Dennis Praeger if I remember correctly.

I looked for the book you recommended on Amazon and by Googling but could not find it.

I found that the author of the book you recommended had written a case for Antisemitism.

Yes I was talking about immigration. Referring to people coming in illegally. That is a really broad topic but the issue is the ones who enter illegally
Sounds like BMW using same production idea as Mercedes. Called on time delivery. Production number is dropping at plant and then broadcast to suppliers such as the seat maker. Time the car is built in body shop then goes through paint and hits assembly things such as seats come in to match the car. The car hits the seat line and seats come down conveyor to install in the car at same time. Really cuts down on storage of bulky items like seats plus its unreal at the amount of seat color and options. Problem is when Supplier goes down then MB goes down.
However MB got to Alabama it has been a big economic boost

Seeing that you said you worked at MB. Do you know why that plant is there? The backstory to all of that? It goes back to George Bush Sr. and his creation of Nafta (that Clinton finished and signed) MB was well aware of Nafta being worked on. They were told that there would be issues if they put a plant in Mexico. As there has been German immigration to Alabama, MB started looking in the south. Shelby started promoting Alabama and promised tax credits. He got the Gov to sign off on tax credits to incentivize MB to open there. So they put the plant there. I think MB just opened last year(?) their first plant in Mexico.

How do I know this shit? It was the topic I wrote about in a MBA level class I took for fun. It was about US tax credits to incentivize foreign-owned car makers to come here instead of Mexico. It was interesting to learn why BMW went into SC. It had to do with seats and the fact that were a lot of talent in the area in the textile industry. I forgot the name of the supplier. But BMW had a JIT program with them so that as a car, iirc, the z3(?) was starting to be built, the order for the seats would be sent to the supplier, and by the time the car got to the point where the seats were to be installed, the seats were delivered. I am gonna hunt for the video that shows how it worked. It was fascinating to see all of this to me.

Erotic.....well when it comes to Twitter or Facebook maybe they should ask upfront before allowing people to join what their views are on things such as politics. So if you are more right wing then don't allow an account to be made. I am all for any hate speech being removed and expect it to be consistent. Why was Dorsey and Zuck called before Congress to testify about censorship?I fully agree, we are ready to breathe again and have some normalcy.

100% agree but that will never happen again unfortunately. Now the repubs have to do all kinds of stupid shit to biden. It's their turn now. Sapp.....I had Facebook for about 7 years but deleted it 6 months ago. I did enjoy it but it got more and more political and became less fun so I deleted it. Never had Twitter. Have a parler but it's all right wing stuff so kinda boring. I use YouTube for all kinds of stuff. Mainly on repair ideas. I use Google a lot.

It is their sandbox. They can do as they please. They are not mandated, regulated, compelled or anything else to let anyone use that they don't want to.

As TBR mentioned and I have stated over and over. Twitter is a private company. They can set the rules to be whatever the fuck they want. You are not compelled to use it. It is their sandbox and they can choose whatever they want. With that, you get the choice to not use them.
