There has been an ongoing philosophical debate between the differences between main street and wall street. While they are separate entities, they are linked, especially when considering pensions, etc.

The top 10% of the wealth controls 92%!of the stock market.

Everyone who has a 401 has been going gang busters the last 11 years.

But, I am will to bet. That everyone here is closer to the bottom 2% of wealth they are to the top 2%.

First of all, most Americans do not have 401's or play the stock market. When the markets rise or fall or "set records", most Americans are not watching.

Millions of jobs are gone, as are thousands of companies and small businesses. Most are not returning. Those former business owners and employees will be hard pressed to find same pay and benefits at their next job -- whenever it comes.

We all can talk about how fast and strong we were in high school and college, but those days are looooooong gone. We have to work with what we have currently. And realistic plans for the next 4 years.

How are these jobs going to magically re-appear? Millions are facing homelessness and food shortages.

Repeating the glory days before mismanagement of the pandemic Coronavirus doesn't give us Trump's plan for the next 4 years.

Has anyone mentioned 401's? Mine has went through the roof in the last 4 years. Yes I lost during the start of covid but I've gained it back and more. Unemployment was low before covid and jobs will come back after our country is opened up. I tend to vote my wallet.

If you are comparing R to D and how the identify, it is 28 R and 29 D as of the pew gallup poll. If you go by registrations, it is 39.66 D to 28.87 R.

If you go by approval rating, it is ~40% for, ~60% against.
