Anyway, I was just pointing out that if a Democratic president had done what Trump did, I suspect the Democrats in Congress would be way more critical than the Republicans currently are with Trump. That's partly a commentary on how different the belief systems of the two parties are, with the Republicans being much more Machiavellian. But it's also a commentary on the wacko base of the party, and the evidence for that is all the cuckoo conspiracy theories about Hillary. The Republican politicians want to keep their job, so they do as their base tells them or else they will get primaried out. In my opinion, this is the cowardly way out, but it is what it is. One Republican congressman said that if the impeachment vote in the House were a secret vote, you would have seen half of the Republicans voting to impeach. Instead, only 10 were brave enough to vote to impeach out in the open.

It's literally impossible to imagine Hillary sending a mob against the Capitol. Or a mob of loonies turning up to do it for her.

I think it's interesting to think about what would happen if the shoe were on the other foot, say, if Hillary Clinton had won in 2016 and incited an attack on the Capitol like Trump did. I'm actually pretty sure there would be many more congressional Democrats who would choose the good of the country over their own party. The current Republican party seems to have lost a lot of it's morals and principles. There are a few exceptions, but otherwise it seems to be very much a party that is all about winning for their own party at all costs, and not for the country.

It's pretty clear we don't want a country where a demagogue can claim election fraud without any evidence to back it up, and rouse up a militia to unconstitutionally go and overrule an election by fiat through intimidation of the opposing party, or even members of his own party that want to uphold the constitution. This one is such a no-brainer. Everyone knows he incited the mob to try to overturn our democracy, and if that's not impeachable, nothing is.

By a person who was on Trumps cabinet , he has said everybody in Washington knew Trump did not collude everybody knew . Robert Mueller and the media’s job was to continue the investigation to to hide what the Clinton and Obama did . The story of the the Biden’s overseas deals andHunters computer and the questionable election will go away. We will focus on a second impeachment and insurrection.
