Yes, I was also triggered by Trump's appeal to racism and xenophobia in his announcement at Trump Tower's for candidacy for the president.

I've also been triggered by Trump leading the birther charge against Obama and in his past actions of fraud and corruption such as Trump University and taking out an ad in a NY paper calling for capital punishment against a set of African American men arrested or a crime that it was later determined that they did not commit.

Trump has a long history of being a Con man in business.

Did the birther charge against Obama trigger you? Were you triggered or blase or accepting about Trump's appeals to anti-black and anti-brown racism? Are you ok with his history of business fraud?

The reason why the Democrats didn’t want Pelosi to testify is because she knew about the planned attack on the Capitol beforehand.

The FBI, NYPD and USCP had prior knowledge of plans for violence at the US Capitol, including intel threatening murder of police officers.

@Flip, Well, OK, I just looked that up, and as soon as the FBI notified him that there was a Chinese spy who had been trying to wield her influence on American politician, he cut off all contacts with her. Looks like he did the right thing. I mean, it's not surprising the Chinese have spies in the country trying to buy influence, and Swalwell did all the right things with the information he had.

As for him being an asshole, no idea about that, as I said this was the first time I've heard of him. Since he comes from a family of police officers, though, and being a former prosecutor, I wouldn't be surprised if he was a bit of an asshole! :-)
