I think it is a sign of vast insecurities when a person feels threatened by someone disagreeing with their opinion. I can not imagine surrounding myself with a bunch of people who out of fear, lack of self , or whatever else it is that motivates others to bow to my opinions. Thankfully I am not so insecure that I feel my friendships are threatened if someone dares to disagree with me with. I can and do disagree with those I adore on many subjects and thankfully they too frequently disagree with me.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
How you handle that disagreement is what separates men from boys or women as the case may be .

Some people are so insecure they need everyone to agree with them. I do not post my opinion so I can hear an "Amen " . I post it because it is mine and I am interested in yours. I find it refreshing when people stand behind their convictions and are willing to share why they feel the way they do. How boring life would be if everyone agreed with every comment made. Only things that makes you Think , to Question, to explore new ideas challenge you to grow as a person. For those who can't handle others disagreeing with them I suggest instead of posting in a forum you post a blog where you state your opinion and not be subjected to the opinions ,thoughts and ideas of others.

Confusing FB with SLS ? What a weird comment on your part . Trust I am acutely aware of the differences although in many instances they overlap. Specifically your first reports presented as fact on the events of the shooter.

As to you forum topic clearly you are incapable of either reading or comprehending if you failed to miss several responses in how to deal with this situation and or solve it. They included more guns, armed guards, bullet proof glass, better mental health care, better parenting , accountability, filling cracks in the system that people fall thereby becoming a danger risk. I am not sure what answer or response you were seeking unless it was we assign you to protect the world as you see fit. Seriously I am not sure what your issue is or what exactly you object to in the forum mentioned about the shootings.

LOL......I can't say I interact much with my friends on FB nor do I really post much myself. My interactions really deal with my children and comments regarding their current photos of updates on their life. Those I live for, FB is my means of keeping current on their lives and for that alone I am thankful to have an account.

Facebook has really changed my perspective of some many people I know. Seemingly otherwise intelligent people post, believe and respond to the most ridiculous things. Is it possible some people are so naive that they are convinced if it is said on the internet it must be true? Why is it People I have known for years to be rather private people air their dirty laundry for the world to see? Why is it people take zero time to verify simply facts that can be searched on the same internet before hitting "share" . I sit and shake my head more and more often these days on the moronic behavior of those on my friends list. I do admit it is quite entertaining but at the same time rather embarrassing. The latest involves the benefit of cut onion being placed on ones beside to prevent flu/germs . Onion have a magnetic power that draws germs to them and away from you. A miracle cure for those of you currently sick...just sleep with onions and tomorrow you will be well. Keep them there and never be sick again. LOL
Seriously I honestly believed most of my friends had some small iota of common sense.
