And that's all I have to say about that.

Instead of assuming it's them - "fake profiles" - maybe reflect on what you can do differently.

We have single males blocked so I can't see his profile, but from the preview alone I can see several problems already:

• lead photo is rotated wrong

• text entirely in caps

• can't spell Pfizer

• nobody cares about vaccination status anymore, or at least not enough to have it in a tagine.

Not sure why you'd consider profiles fake for not responding to you. No reply often IS the response.

That is called 'single male syndrome.' You have yet to see how many people won't respond, just because you are a single male. Don't take that concept personal, either. It will take thousands of unanswered inquiries to get at least one yes. You'll have to do your due diligence. That's just the way the lifestyle is towards a single male.

Went to Sam's today, and when I stopped by the exit for the lady to scan my receipt and purchases, she just said "You're good to go."

She obviously read the puzzled look on my face and showed me the scanner, with an overhead picture of me and my cart. She said "Here's your picture, and your cart matches your receipt."

This is almost scary.

Mostly my WTF is how early people that make money off of holidays push holiday events. In this case, I think this club is hoping people will sign up and be locked into their Halloween party so they don't change their mind if a better offer/party comes along. It just seems as though every year the holidays get pushed earlier and earlier with it being very transparent that the purpose in doing so is to make a buck.

Most are smart enough to leave their options open and not commit so early, unless it's a case like Va's where they fill up instantly. After being in the LS for the past 10+ years, we've found that bigger is not always better when it comes to parties. We've been to house parties in excess of 400 people and there was just no place to play even if you found someone that wanted to.

The Halloween party at Caliente is just about the best party we've ever seen.

They don't open event ticket sales to non-members until 90 days prior, and on that day they open, they will already be sold out. We haven't succeeded in getting in since 2017.

Just saw an SLS ad in our area for a LS Halloween party. Halloween parties have become big $$$ for the for-profit LS clubs, so no surprise they're jumping the gun a bit considering it's nearly 2.5 months away. Wait a month and they'll likely be advertising their Christmas and New Years parties.
