I have not been to Vegas since decriminalization, but I read and heard that you have a last chance to drop it in bins at the airport. If you get caught with it after that point, all bets are off.

One would assume it would be ok/somewhat legal to fly from NorCal to other parts of California.

But then again, air travel is governed by the Feds.

I think it's still illegal to cross the state borders with it. They all want their tax money.

Gasoline works well for removing roofing tar from your hands.

Windex works well for removing evergreen sap from your hands (think Christmas trees.)

Carnival Cruises has a no THC policy that includes no CBD or any THC based product like Delta 8. Two years ago I was doing a training run on one of the decks and when I got to the bow of the ship that was kind of hidden, 2 dudes were smoking a blunt right there in the open. I chuckled (might have been the second hand) since Carnival takes a very hard stance on no THC. They have dogs that they have sniffing your carry ones and apparently they also check checked bags. They confiscated my steamer that I packed but apparently bong are ok, I guess. We have brought Delta 8 and some THC edibles. We just take them out of their packaging and mix it with other candy in our snack bag. I get a little nervous a the dog approaches and then he walks by. Reminds me of the opening season in “The Heat”, when Sandra Bullock’s character busts the drug dog for not sniffing out the drugs because they had a steak covering with it to cover up the smell.

And then they do a secondary inspection on my prescription medication...

I know a guy who allegedly smokes weed on a regular basis. He used to fly weekly for 15 years with weed and a pipe and never got asked about it. They only care about explosives I was told by a couple of TSA agents and a girl who worked at the airport.

So I took a nice trip to Portland, Oregon this week to see my friend.

As I got ready to leave Monday, she asked me if I smoked pot, and I told her no, but Mrs. TBR does.

So she says "you can have all this stuff," which included over half an ounce of weed, a bong, rolling papers, cones, a nice tray with more weed in it, you get the idea...

Put it all in my carry on luggage, which sailed right through the TSA checkpoint, no questions asked.

But they did flag my computer bag for secondary inspection. It contained my insulin pen...

An off-duty officer with the Atlanta Police Department was shot and killed by one of his neighbors after he allegedly broke into a house near St. Andrews Golf Club in Douglas County, Georgia, early Friday morning, officials said.

The officer, identified as Aubree Horton, had been with the Atlanta Police Department since 2015 and was most recently with the Fugitive Unit, the department told Fox News Digital.

Horton was also just honored with an Investigator of the Year award late last month, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.

On the hand sanitizer one of our local pharmacies, a mom and pop compounding pharmacy dove into the hand sanitizer business too, first it was $5 a bottle then $4 , $3, $2, $1 and now it’s “take one it’s free… please!”
Also I work with refineries and chem plants, a lot of them bought thousands of gallons to keep in restrooms, break rooms, your desk…. They still have pallets of it in their warehouses…..

This is more about how "people" work than how markets work, if that lst comment was directed at me. The only real WTF I have here is why I haven't blocked NOTANDREW until now? ;-) About to fix that.

Someone doesn't understand how markets work

Ever since Covid, there can be TP shortages now because someone realized they could "fake news" their way into one. People believed it and CREATED the shortage. I remember seeing YouTubes of people that filled their garages with TP.

If people had purchased TP at the normal rate they always had, there wouldn't be a shortage.

Another reason these shortages get created is when people think they're going to make a killing, like the hand sanitzer thing during Covid. At least one of those bastards got what was due when they tried to sell their hoarded supply on Amazon and Amazon shut them down. They wound up with thousands of $$$ of hand sanitizer they didn't need and couldn't sell.

The bad thing is that the majority of the TP in America is made in America…. So the strike really wasn’t going to affect the supply.
Even worse, the wife checked last night. We paid $28 for a case of TP on Amazon last month, last night that same case of TP was listed at $38……..
Sounds like Jeff B is price gouging……

We don't reply about half the time. It's only when the person (usually a single guy) hasn't read the profile or his is shitty with no pics. We put the same effort into replying as they do reading or working on their profile. Fuck'em, not my problem. But when it's obvious they put the effort in, we always reply with a sorry not looking for single guys or whatever. It's not cause we are fake.

My two cents on flakes:

I send out personalized messages every time; not a copy and paste message. The profile owner will either read the message, view my profile and not respond or read the message, delete it and not respond at all. It is very rare that I'll get a message saying 'thank you, but not interested.' I have had plenty of conversations that went very well and then was ghosted right before getting to the point of asking if they would like to meet in person.

My thought is: Unless you see current certifications, are any of those profiles that you get no response from or were ghosted by, fake profiles?

and to add another insult to our week... met a SLS single guy for dinner and drinks Wed, we bought all, well over $100.00 , usually no issues as we are glad to entertain... BUT after we invited him back to our home, flirting, BJ's , he couldn't get and stay hard!
