I am almost finished getting laser hair removal and while the results are amazing , it’s expensive and painful. I used to get Brazilian waxes which were also uncomfortable but laser hair removal is a different kind of pain. If you decide to do it just know that it’s a process that is done over several months. Best tip is to always shave the area that will be getting treated with the laser as close as possible to decrease pain. With that being said , I do love the results !
Well laser hurt like hell the first few times on the face and neck, the thicker the hair the more it hurts....never had laser down there....
Laser is without a doubt the best way to go! I used to shave and as other point out, the stubble sucks and gets painful pretty quick. I was always nervous about shaving before playing with others because you sometimes get small cuts. The thought of having cut or damaged skin always made me nervous. I once tried self waxing... let's just say that I would not recommend that! Laser has been awesome. Noticed major results after just the first session. I recommend you start laser early. As others have pointed out, it doesnt work on gray or light colored hair. Do it ASAP before you have too many gray hairs down there. Ref pain... there wasnt any. It just feels warm sometimes when they stay in the same spot too long. No regrets!

we prefer sugaring over waxing. typically lasts about 3-4 weeks.

If it hasn't been mentioned, we would recommend sugaring over waxing. There's a few different ways to sugar. We prefer the method where the technician uses a "ball" of the molten sugar rather than spreading the sugar and using the paper strips. This method doesn't require the tech to go back to the pot unless the ball gets to loaded with hair. And then, the tech tosses the ball and the gloves, regloves and starts again. This method minimizes the chance of the molten sugar becoming contaminated with bacteria and such. Much more hygienic than waxing and not nearly as harse on the skin as the sugar is a lower temp. The Mr here has very sensitive skin and a summer cardigan on his back. He can exfoliate a few days before, have the tech do a mask on his back immediately before the procedure and ends up with minimal breakouts too. If you're as sensitive, a benedryl or similar antihistamine just prior to the procedure and for the next day or so also helps.
