Not counting your quoting me, in your last 100 posts you have mentioned Trump 34 times.

You could just start your own free site and enjoy it with all the other free people, it wouldn’t bother most on here a bit .

If you’re not willing to pony up for at least a month’s membership, then honestly you can’t really be serious. So sorry, not sorry.

So if one is a free member and a paid member likes the profile and sends them a "bird" they will get a notification from SLS that they must fork over almost 15 bucks to read it. I thought they (SLS) might choose to have them pay by the letter. I suppose most who have free accounts on here will probably not delete them, but I think there will be far less new ones and the ones already on will go for weeks or months without signing on. IMO they went this far, which is about as far as you can go without banning them outright. There is not a whole lot of difference.

If u go into a free profile, if I want to see a forum post or an email, it requires at least a one month subscription.

Having said that and having been both a paid and free member the past 12 or so years, under this new policy it seems a waste of time to be a free member with one exception. If over a period of time you come across new paid profiles that one would feel there might be a possible connection, said free member can then choose to sign up for a month or three, so they can write them.

Oh, empathy and the lack of same crosses all boundaries. I've known a few Wall Street bankers who had it and a do-gooder who didn't. One of my kids was born empathetic and the other one was a bit of a challenge. One of the most empathetic people I've ever worked with was a whack job GOP politician who never let her politics get in the way of helping anyone she could.

Well, thanks for the compliment GGMM. Theses kids are also fundamentally different in that characteristic from the Wall Street bankers. To paraphrase a quote attributed to Ernest Hemmingway, "The Wall Street bankers have more money."

Just a side comment, but when I do try to go to look at the new profiles about 50% of the time I get to an error page. If others are seeing the same, that could be another reason the lists are getting so big.

I wonder if they restrict free members from viewing LS parties? Many of those require some type of contact, so it probably doesn't help if you remain free members. For us, the LS events are the biggest value that this site provides in therms of actually meeting people.

Whatever the case, I also see huge lists of new members signing up. Most of the profiles are very minimal, but the guidelines do say that if they answer the first 2 questions then they meet the minimum criteria for approval. In some cases there were so many typos/grammar issues in those 2 sentences that I do at least flag those as "Needs work" and so far have only seen 1 that was a definite "No", It was just gibberish text and apparently the person doing that doesn't realize that a real person looks at this.

The only one I really look for is AR. His stuff is so crazy that it was entertaining.

Nutcal I occasionally read because of someone arguing with him on the fora.

We had (now deleted) a free profile also and never once did we have the urge to see what ppl we blocked had to say. They were blocked for a reason.

No it doesn’t and many we see are getting needs work .
There is no way to prevent someone making a couples profile if they choose to lie .

Doesn’t mean they’re legit couples profiles. I have been going through a lot of those and most aren’t even one sentence.

The massive influx of new members continues just see the profiles that need approving reach 150 daily and after reading to approve a large majority are couples . This is a good thing

It also means we can't log into a free profile to see the stupid shit Nutcal, HFT, and AR post.
