Seriously SLS?

Just discussing this recently. Can't speak for anyone else, but we open and close our profile to SM's as needed. If you see we have checked your profile and ours is not open to you, it is probably because we are seeking SM's and we may be interested in contacting you. If we actually do contact you, you will have access to our profile and pics as well.

For those who get peeped but not contacted, call it the price of doing business and be glad someone stopped by. You may not have gotten top billing this time, doesn't mean there's no interest, or that you won't ne contactd in the future.

There is a section in the Website portion of the fora where you can make complaints about functionality. Your complaint will be, most likely, ignored.

Hot Date issue...there was a time, not too long ago, on SLS, when you posted a hot date, within5 minutes or so, it would appear in that section of the page. Occasionally, edits would occur and the update was just as immediate. Lately, everything has to be approved. Sometimes two days later (what’s the point of the option?). So this weekend we posted, we waited, and waited, eventually it appeared and we realized we missed the “we can host line.” We made the update and waited , and waited. The approval was insanely lagging. I reach out to SLSand their basic excuse. We don’t work 24/7 and holidays, plan ahead (but you’ll take my money 24/7 and holidays). I know others have expressed the same. We are members of another site as well, and gee, the minute you finish your invitation and hit the post button, Bam. It’s there. What give Someone? Business is 24/7weekend and holidays included. Here’s my suggestion. Restrict the Hot Date section to the hours of 10 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday excluding weekends, holidays and special events convenient for the staff at SLS. That way it’s assured that nobody needs approval like asking the boss for a day off to go have fun. We have been members for sometime, and the quality of this site has deteriorated at light speed. No wonder the other site wins in popularity, function, style, and service.

If you are considering purchasing a new Corvette, they won't let you spend a day at the track with it. But they will probably let you test drive it.

If they are going to prevent free members from doing anything then they shouldn’t let them sign up unless they pay. Otherwise it’s essentially a way to just get off looking at some racy but clothes pics and profiles.

The developers don't even know how...

I agree, SLS 's reasoning is bullshit. If they are still allowing free members to sign up, but blocking communication it's clearly bait and switch. If they were honest they would stop allowing free members and eliminate all those on the site that haven't paid. I'm sure they won't do that because it would probably cut membership by 75% overnight!

The SLS membership fees are very reasonable compared to other dating sites.

I'm way worse than currentrider. They wear regular powersuits during their normal day. When they party, watch the movie Eyes Wide Shut. So you can afford a boat, and hauling it around, paying the fees, etc., but can't afford SLS. Or were you hoping to hitch a ride on someone else's boat? We will fuck if you let us on your boat?

Trips? Around the block? If you can afford a drive and a hotel, then you can afford SLS.

Concerts and bands? Have you looked at Ticketmaster prices for any band that's bigger than the one playing at the local bar?

Well, it seems the "free" members are starting to get creative. I just came across a profile from one who is asking those that might be interested in their profile to communicate with them by using the "additional comments" section of their profile. Which I assume would mean editing your profile each time. The ingenuity of man and women never ceases to amaze me. I don't think I would have thought of that.
