I am one of those people who would be offended by “such things”, and yet, contrary to your opinion, I think that the lifestyle is very much for me.
Some one who says that they are not looking to play with black people is racist, and also it’s in poor taste, just as it would be racist if I said that I’m open to all people except white people.
Now, if thats how you feel, I’m not suggesting that you censure yourself. You, do you.
Do not think putting "black" in the description, saying you are not looking to play with black people is racist, or in poor taste. I'm sure many people do not prefer to play with us, and we do put as much information on here as we can. This includes full face photos, and not hiding anything from potential play partners. If those people are that offended by such things maybe this lifestyle is not for them.....

To be fair, the only public pics that show on your profile are of a white female. Obviously that doesn't mean that both members of the couple are white, but it's also not unreasonable for people to presume that's the case. I certainly had no idea that the person behind the keyboard was black, though I also don't particularly care about that stuff either and never put any thought into it until now.
The most effective way to prevent that from happening is to either add a pic or 2 of yourself in your public gallery or make mention somewhere in your profile that you're an interracial couple. I don't think you should really have to do that but unfortunately there's still a fuck ton of people out there who care about that stuff.

so when I am chatting with someone for a few minutes and I get comfortable enough to open pics. they go view the pics, come back and say "oh I didn't know you were black." do they assume everyone is white when they are chatting? should my reply be Oh, I didn't know you were white?

I agree it is a waste of time and money. As I stated before, this lawyer somehow got the judge to hear the case to overturn the original judgement despite me never being served because he never paid for service.
I have no idea how that wasn’t caught because the very first trial date we went to was denied a hearing because the lawyer was never served (he hid in his office and had his secretary say he wasn’t there).

Do you know on what grounds a continuance was requested/granted? Seems like a failure of the court/legal system.
If it takes X number of days to serve someone with a change of date and the continuance is requested <X number of days prior to to next scheduled appearance, then the judge should be obligated to deny a continuance without the introduction of very significant evidence or extenuating/unavoidable circumstances (personal emergency/illness/etc) for the party requesting the continuance.
Seems like a waste of time and tax dollars.

At this point we are suing for 5xs all actual costs. We were awarded it In full once before the lawyer pulled some bs that got it overturned.
The bulk of the bills were medical costs. The rest is just nickels and dimes comparatively. We have the time to wait if that’s the game.

I know small claims court has an upper limit. It sounds like the strategy is to get you to pay for this one way or the other. If you have long since hit your small claims limit, then each one of these BS appearances essentially costs you more.
I totally get though that you are doing this for the principle at this point and that seems to be lost on them. At some point your persistence will pay off and you will have the last laugh. Keep the faith and good luck.
It's a small claim's case. We don't have a lawyer and don't need one because our case is rock solid. She hired herself one that specializes in getting people out of traffic tickets--squirrelly as hell. Every receipt, every piece of paper, every bit of info and trip to court has been documented. I have been keeping a detailed log since the beginning.
They are simply trying to trip us up or exhaust us. The more games they play the more determined I become that they will not get away with it.

The real issue is that your attorney and their attorney meets the judge for lunch once a week and they couldn't care less about your case, it's all business as usual. Local politics are usually as corrupt as any.
Motherfucking crapass lawyer! We got to court this morning, checked in with the court reporter to be informed the case has a continuance. Once again, I wasn't served! We went to speak to the civil court clerk to find out what fuckery is up this time. Turned out the lawyer asked for a continuance on Nov 15th...5 days ago. It takes at least a week for a constable to serve someone and I'm sure the lawyer knew this. The case now won't be reheard until February.
More wasted time and money. I'm suddenly wishing the Purge was a real thing.

Thanks, Phoebert, If they don't show like the original case I'll likely get the full judgment again. The video evidence is clear as is the police report and physical evidence.
The funny thing is, the woman is a moron. If she had worked with me in the beginning and paid my out of pocket medical expenses for her dog biting me in the face (on my property) we wouldn't be going to court and I wouldn't be suing her for 7 times the amount of my costs. I'm always incredulous that people will not be even remotely responsible for their mistakes/actions.

PP - Having to go to court AGAIN tomorrow because the defendant's lawyer somehow pulled something slick, got a trial date set without having me served, and had gotten the original ruling in my favor overturned. We're prepared, have plenty of evidence and just cause and are again expecting a favorable outcome. However, we do expect, just like the original case, that neither the defendant nor her lawyer will appear. We're just hoping we can get the judge to put her foot down and stop this incessant back and forth and waste of our time.

@sorillo - I started getting the dry itchy skin and nose bleeds multiple times daily from the dry winter air about 4 years ago. We had small humidifiers down and upstairs, but they maybe put a 1/2 gal of water into the air per day.
Ocean State Job Lots had a whole house humidifiers last year for $189 and you got a $189 Crazy Deal gift card, meaning it was basically free. It has two removable 2-gal containers for water on each side of it. Only down side is the wicks are about $25/pair and they only last 6-8 weeks.
In the first 24 hours we had this going, it put 10 GALLONS of water into the air and still was barely keeping up according to our humidistat. Since using this, the bloody noses and dry itchy skin have stopped almost completely. I may get 3 or 4 bloody noses over a season but was getting that many in a single day before. Something to look into.

I have mixed feelings about this time of year. God help me, but I love the cool, even cold weather. But my skin always dries out so that my calves itch constantly, and the skin splits on my fingers. I'm nursing three bad ones on my thumbs right now that make it difficult to hold anything without crying like a little girl. I always forget to start moisturizing before this stuff happens.
