We do not agree at all. There are lots of reasons to avoid contact, this stupid disclaimer is not one of those reasons for us.
Having the disclaimer is merely being misinformed, or at worst it’s just stupid. If nobody contacted us because we are stupid we’d never meet anyone. A little tolerance is called for in this instance.

could not agree more. While some might think it is petty or a preference with no substance, it is our preference. Any disclaimer written in the profile will NOT stand up in court PLUS, highly doubt anyone on this site would spend the money, time, and overtness of such a ludicrous action. A good lawyer would laugh at you in the office. A bad lawyer would take your money and laugh behind closed doors.
I'm going to bring this one up again because I am seeing it in a lot of profiles.
Please, Please, Please stop putting the Sydney University warning on your profiles. It has no force of law.
The internet is a public place, and any information you put here is public.
Even if it weren't, how are you going to sue someone for using your anonymized information on here. There are no names, no addresses, not really any identifiable information on here.

Couples that you chat up, all seems well, everybody on the same page. Then they are all 100%, by their rules, non negotiable and totally dismissive of you and your spouses rules and ideas.

njny - While we didn't have to wait to get into the grocery store, pretty much nobody was observing social distancing. Since we bring our own bags, we bag things ourself. In a way it can be better because we can sort by perishable and non-perishable and the later can stay in the car for a day or 2 so there is less stuff to wipe down.
BTW - The wiped down fresh cart was nice. We didn't get that where we shop. There was someone wiping things down as you entered the store though.
Why is everyone in front of me not in a hurry and everyone behind me in a huge hurry, really seems to around me all the time driving..
Next time going thru drive thru make sure you have a couple buttons on your blouse undone and a sexy red or black lacy pushup bra, for sure will not send you away....I love going thru the drive thru in super short tight mini skirt and seatbelt across (inbetween) my DD's....
My PP is non swing related. Peoples driving habits make me insane! People are so rude to one another and/or are clueless and shouldn't be driving. Left lane is for passing, you have turn signals for a reason, speed limits have a purpose, I can go on but everybody gets the picture.

I avoid the political forums like the plague but I found this to be a generally civil and enlightening conversation. If this were brought up in the political forum, it would have long ago devolved into name calling, baiting and personal insults.

PP. rabbit and I have both been fighting off bad colds and losing. We will be spending Thanksgiving coughing, sneezing, aching and being generally miserable but we will at least be together.

The fallacy with that statement is that you assume that the indigenous people that were here were harmonious. They were not. There was a reason why some Indian tribes teamed up with the US Calvary. They wanted help in defeating the other indigenous people.
