Rest in peace original Philadelphia Flyer Bernie Parent. I never got the chance to meet him... Would have loved to.

“ It is not my place to investigate the backstory and also choose not to.”
That’s how everyone ends up knowing nothing.

The man charged in connection with a police chase and crash which left three members of an innocent family dead was initially believed the be the driver who caused the fatal wreck, but court records and a top prosecutor said a 17-year-old girl was driving, 12 News has learned.
Through a criminal complaint filed Sept. 19 in Milwaukee County Circuit Court, prosecutors linked Trevon Loston to the crash, charging him with gun possession, bail jumping, and driving a vehicle without the owner's consent. Police said the Dodge Journey seen Sept. 16 running a red light, causing the crash just after 9:30 p.m. was stolen.
According to the Sept. 19 criminal complaint, Loston told investigators he knew the vehicle was stolen when he drove it from Elkhart, Indiana, to Milwaukee. But the document said Loston denied driving it at the time of the crash. The complaint said Loston, 19, told investigators he had picked up a 17-year-old girl.
"The defendant stated that after picking up [the 17-year-old], he got tired of driving, so he pulled over and allowed [the 17-year-old] to take over driving the stolen Dodge Journey," Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney Grant Huebner wrote in the complaint."

The plot thickens.
Police chases are banned in many places for the exact foreseeable scenario that arose. It’s not worth killing innocent bystanders to catch a perp. He will get caught eventually.
That shit pisses me off...

That 19 year old's life is now fucked, because of poor decisions. It is not my place to investigate the backstory and also choose not to. But, a poor choice to drive reckless, led to poor choice to evade police, which led to an accident killing innocent people and injuring innocent people. That 19 year old's life is fucked.

Three people are dead and five others were hurt after a police chase ended when the fleeing vehicle crashed into another car at a busy intersection.
Milwaukee police say it all started Tuesday around 9:30 p.m. They saw a reckless vehicle near North 36th Street and West Wright Street and tried pulling the vehicle over. The driver sped off with police in pursuit.
The chase ended minutes later just over a mile south when the fleeing vehicle smashed into another car at North 35th Street and West Vliet Street.
Three innocent people in the vehicle that was hit died. Two more people in that same vehicle are in the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the fleeing vehicle, a 19-year-old man, was arrested and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two passengers in the 19-year-old's vehicle were also hurt and are expected to be okay."

The Sting and All the Presidents Men for me.
Three Days of the Condor and Jeremiah Johnson are the highlights for me, with The Sting and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid close behind. The Natural is one of the better sports films but it totally misreads the story from the book.
The rest of his filmography is kinda meh, at least for me. Still, getting at least four absolute classics in one actor's filmography is a pretty good record.
Robert Redford was a very handsome man. I enjoyed his work on screen for what I have seen. I need to get caught up on his body of work. Rest in peace, sir!
That makes me sad.

He was a family man so if I had to guess, I'd day it was more likely he was just dealt a bad hand. Especially since his channel was all about staying healthy, but can't say for sure obviously.
