Sorry Tbr, and Yes, it is a weird feeling. You just feel a little more alone in the world, or that's at least how I felt.

My wife lost her mother not all that long ago. That was the last of either of our parents, but her mother had a massive stroke years ago and no longer knew who she was most times, so that was a bit different. It was more like she lost her mother years ago.

@tbr, sorry to hear that. We are in that same boat of no more parents. It's a weird feeling

Condolences to the family.

I still have my 80 yr old father.

But it's not the same as having your mother around.

I would have to ponder my greatest day ever.

Worst days ever were my mother's death, the memorial and cleaning out her belongings.

Well that sucks.

You're all showing your age, but I'm surprised nobody mentioned Petticoat Junction.

I used to get June Lockhart and Barbara Billingsley confused until I remembered that Barbara Billingsley could speak jive.

The Academy Award-winning actress died at 79, PEOPLE confirmed exclusively on Oct. 11. While fans will never forget her amazing range (she won an Oscar for her role in romantic comedy Annie Hall and a nomination for dramas Marvin's Room and Reds), her passion for fashion will also not be forgotten.

Diane Keaton, the Oscar-winning star of “Annie Hall,” “The Godfather” films and “Father of the Bride,” whose quirky, vibrant manner and depth made her one of the most singular actors of a generation, has died. She was 79.

People Magazine reported Saturday that she died in California with loved ones, citing a family spokesperson. No other details were immediately available, and representatives for Keaton did not immediately respond to inquiries from The Associated Press.

@Flip you need to improve your program selection. I thought you hated to beat Miss Lead. It only take a few seconds to check things. Im sure somebody has a resource that they use.

Flip can still hold a grudge even after they're dead.

Let it go.

Allegations that Jane Goodall advocated for "depopulation" are a widely debunked conspiracy theory based on a distorted and decontextualized clip of a 2020 speech.
The conspiracy theory originated from a clip of Goodall speaking at the World Economic Forum in 2020. In the video, she stated that many of today's environmental problems would not exist if the human population were the same size as it was 500 years ago.

she's not wrong...
