Be patient. The Fresno Grizz got dropped to single A and Fresno State baseball sucked donkey dong this year. He'll be in a better mood now that the Fresno Falcons hockey team will be back.
My mother watched pro baseball for years before realizing that the AL on umpire hats stood for "American League", rather than the umpire being named Al.
JW: Has anyone else noticed that there’s a guy who goes by Al whose been actively helping site members tweak and create their profiles? On quite a few occasions, when I’ve been looking at profiles, I’ve seen comments like, “This section written by/created by Al.”
I wonder whether he’s doing it for free or if he’s being compensated?
Sports would seem to be one of those things that wouldn't adapt well to torrenting since most people prefer to see it live. Unless there was a fantastic play one wanted to review, I'd think it would ruin it for most watching a game where they already know the outcome, or at least that's part of the appeal of watching sports I'd think.
As you can likely tell, I don't watch or follow sports. I'll enjoy a game with friends if it's on, but it's just not something I'd go out of my way to watch, much less pay for. The Olympics is the exception for me. If I recall, Peacock+ has that and I get that for free with Xfinity.
So I guess if you owned a DVD and showed it to others, that is just another form of "sharing", like the torrent sites. So long as money isn't changing hands, I guess it's OK?
As a torrent pirate (arg...) there are still lots of privateers like me out there so I can see why sites like that remain in existence. I have over 4000 movies and who knows how many show episodes or music albums I use on the daily and share with friends. 12TB worth last count. Some of those movies might be on Netflix today, but gone tomorrow. Once I download them, I basically own them. Y'all are beholden to the Netflix nipple. It's supplemental to me. I'll always be able to watch what I want when I want. My daughter loves my 90's collection of MP3z very much. Way more than her Spotify collections.
Just wondering how a torrent streaming service like Torrentio and particularly the underlying torrent sites remain in operation. I watched a YouTube about free TV. They showed use of a free UI streaming app called Stemio and configure it to stream torrents from sites found on Torrentio. Technically Stremio and Torrentio are legit, but the underlying torrent sites being accessed may not be.
The result is the ability to be able to watch just about any series/movie you'd find on Hulu, Netflix, Prime, Peacock, or Paramount+ for free.
If you find this YouTube and decide to try it, they strongly suggest you have a VPN in place for doing this. Having a VPN in general is never a bad idea in and of itself. While a decent VPN service costs, Stremio and Torrentio are free.
Used to be that using "jeep" to describe anything with square/rectangular headlights was blasphemy, since they'd changed them along with a bunch of other things (and most of them were NOT for the better) when Chrysler took over. The rectangular lights didn't last long, if memory serves.
Heh. When my nephews were youngsters, I'd cropdust them while they were playing video games. Then I'd tell them "that air you're breathing? It used to be INSIDE MY BUTT!"
