That's one of the nice things about some parties if you all play in separate rooms or it's one big play room. They dynamics often will shift and the pressure of chemistry and a full swap in a normal lets meet another couple can go out the window. You can have a little more freedom to just play and talk through it together after you're done. We always just ask what we can bring when we get an invite. We have had several that just answered, "condemns." It's great that you all were able to have good time and break the monotony.
