Thank you for responding positively. We now have two couples that will be arriving today. I did check the hotel/motel situation in Sebring and they are full/booked. Looks like the hurricane will come thru Sebring as IAN did. But, I expect it will not be super bad as on the coast. Best wishes.

Short notice I know, but many have to make plans and go as it closes. We live in Sebring and a couple, friends of my mother may be coming here from Clearwater. They are swingers. Still not sure yet, but we do have 2 extra bedrooms. So, any that are escaping the East coast of Florida, we have decided that we can accommodate two other couples. We embrace the lifestyle and it would be quite the experience to share it through the storm. We have a new home above any flooding potential here although we have seen significant adjacent flooding and a 3 day power outage during IAN. We have a small generator that powers our 2 fridge freezers. Not enough for air conditioning.

My husband has warned me to say that the hurricane is projected to come dangerously close to us inland. But definitely better than on the coast.
