Matouk's, Pickappepa (both types) and Tabasco (green and red).
Hot Sauce

Reaper-Acha is a great one I have found. Made with Carolina Reapers. I have found that a lot of the novelty SUPER hot sauces just have heat, but this one has both heat and flavor (smokey and sweet).

When I was younger, I loved hot & spicy stuff ... as Ive gotten older, not so much. I seem to be way more sensitive to spicy hot things now. With that being said, Tabasco is way too hot for me. I love Crystal, has the nice flavor without the extreme heat for me.
I like Matouk’s, which is from Trinidad and Tobago. TandT has very strong Indian influences, which is reflected in their food.
While I like Matouk’s, I prefer some of the homemade recipes. When it comes to hot sauce, I’ve got a guy...
he makes the best bootleg sauce I’ve ever had.
We have always been a fan of Dave's when in the states and shy away from most vinegar based sauces. We absolutely love Korean and Thai chili pastes. There are also some good ones in S. Asia as well.
Oh and there are many excellent sauces made in Florida. Probably my favorite is called Micanopy Gold.
I do not judge. These sorts of things are the ultimate case of 'chacun son gout'. If you like it, you like it. There are no right or wrong answers.
I tend to like sauces of the central american or southeast asian varieties. I dont require super hot sauces - I like a wide variety.
Scotch bonnet-based sauces for whatever reason havent been winners for me in the past, but I'm always looking for new ones. Is there a particular brand that you really enjoy?
on the topic of Tabasco, I do appreciate their Garlic flavor. No judgement. This, like arguably almost everything here in foraland, should be about personal preference. Live and let live and all that.
I blend Crystal with Steen’s as a glaze for grilled shrimp. Give it a shot if you’ve never tried it.

Scotch Bonnet pepper and sauces derived from it are the best in the world. Cherished by many in the Caribbean, they are better than any Murican made hot sauce (since every thread seems to become political, I figured I should get my jabs in before the rush).
Seriously, Scotch Bonnet is pretty hot, on par with Habaneros, but with really great flavor. Any one who has had real Jamaican Jerk chicken has tasted Scotch Bonnet.
Crystal is probably my favorite of the Louisiana sauces. Its good with so many different foods.
I also am a fan of Tabasco (don't judge me), especially with breakfast.
I’m a fan of Crystal, which is made locally. It’s flavorful without that acidic vinegaryness (yeah, not a real word) of Tabasco.

Probably a low-interest topic to most, but....
I love hot sauce. I'm the easiest person to buy cheap gifts for because whatever wonky hot sauce you for $6 I probably haven't had it, because there are so many.
If you like hot sauce, what are some favorites of yours? The best one I've got going on right now is Iguana Atomic Pepper sauce. Probably the best combo of hot and flavor I've ever had was one called Four Horsemen, by Sideshow Sauces.
Any thoughts or favorites?
