This is the Male half. We appreciate the advice given.

Like BT said, this has to be about both of you. Unless you're both on the same page this will not work. And speaking in I and me is a huge red flag that says you're not on the same page.

Our advice, forget about this site until you two have a candid conversation and agree on what you want and why.

Actually, at the risk of sounding rude, it should be “we”, not “I”. You have a couples profile, but you are posing a question or questions here in the first person.
There’s a wealth of knowledge and experience amongst the active group of posters here, but many won’t take you seriously if they think you’re either a SM posing as a couple, or the male half, who created a profile without your significant other’s knowledge.

These little faux pas are often like poker tells. So, you may want to clarify if you are the male or female half first, share a bit about what conversations you have had with your SO about things and then, launch into the Q & A.

You will get hundreds of suggestions in these forums for the help you seek. What worked best for us when we first started? Like you've done here, but focus it on swingers in your community. We've yet to find someone who isn't willing to have dinner or a drink to answer questions. We hope you find that for the most part swingers are pretty open about their experiences, good, bad and indifferent. If there are meet and greet near you, attend them, make conversation and we think you'll find the answers to any questions you have. Go through the profiles in your area, find some commonality and reach out.

Bottom line? You won't find the answers sitting on the couch or waiting for others to contact you. As hard as it feels, you have to be proactive and be the one asking......I have a question, can you help?

Life is all about creating experiences. I'm new to the lifestyle and have no idea what I actually want. Im fonding more and more about myself every day. Finding it hard to find beginner events and people(friends) to guide me through the lifestyle. Sex is important but friendship is even more important to me.
