Hey Melvin at 46 yr old I don't think a person of your age would be out there doing anything anyway. When I lived in the NE we would go out the night before and toilet paper peoples trees and usually some shaving cream on cars. That was bad as it damaged the paint. That was all done as teenagers not as a grown adult. I think you are way to paranoid about it.
I do have my reasons for doing as such tonight; prefer to keep those reasons private and will leave it at that.

Of all the reasons to avoid going out on big party nights, that's the most ridiculous one I've ever heard. Jesus Christ, I thought I was paranoid. Your tin foil hat is on a little too tight.
It is the night before Halloween... That's right, it's Mischief Night!
I was not really one for going out and doing stupid stuff on this annual night of weird occurrences. I've always tried to have a paper trail of my whereabouts and an ironclad alibi for Mischief Night. Why? Because there's been too much stupid shit that went on for years in the area, including building fires, that have happened on Mischief Nights.
I choose to stay home tonight and watch TV. And, to prove that I am home, I use my phone to type all of this out, while attached to my home wifi. If any law enforcement agency wants to know my whereabouts for tonight, they can freely have the logs from my wifi router and see that my phone was connected to my home wifi for hours prior to typing this out and for the foreseeable future.
